Personally, I think refusing to engage with a work of art because I disagree with the author’s worldview is the worst kind of cowardice. What’s the worst that’s going to happen? You might end up with a more nuanced understanding of the issues? You might better understand how some people think, even if you ultimately disagree? Ooh, scary.
