How to transfer games?

So, I’m a little slow and didn’t want to necro a thread so hear me out.
How do I transfer games from an android app to website?
I have a… fair amount I realised it was easier to just buy on the website from now on so is it even possible?
Do I just send an email with a list of the transaction id? or do I include the game name as well? And can I send them all in one email?

I think your receipts from Google Play (is that where you bought them?) would be best. Just forward them.

Download the omnibus as well as the individual titles you own, login to your account on the omnibus, navigate to the correct titles and click on restore purchase, and voila! You can now play through the website!

I tried that, but all the apps keep failing no matter which one I try u-u even the most recent one
i’ll just send the transaction ids through the email on the hosted games app that they give you when you try since it changes for each title

Transferring games from an Android app to a website may not be possible in most cases, as the two platforms typically have different versions of the same game. However, if the game is available on both the app and website, you may be able to transfer your progress from one platform to the other.

To do so, you will need to ensure that you are logged in with the same account on both platforms. This will allow your progress to be synced automatically between the app and website. You should also make sure that you are using the most up-to-date version of the game on both platforms.

Here’s the FAQ page with the various possibilities of purchase transfers:

Please note that if you buy the game with your CoG account then you just have to tap the “restore purchase” button in the various app.
If you bought the game on Steam you can restore your purchases directly from your CoG account (under your games’ list there’s a link “restore purchases from Steam”).
If you’re encountering difficulties you can contact the support and they’ll quickly restore your purchases (you just need to send them the receipts).

@AnitaMurphy, kindly note that in-game progress is stored locally, both if you play on the app or on the website, so unfortunately you can’t sync it and resume your playthrough from one to another.
At the moment the only way to sync progress between different devices is to play on Steam.

Hey there! No need to worry about necro-ing a thread. It’s great that you want to transfer your Android games to a website. The process can vary, but usually, it’s not something done frequently. Your best bet is to reach out to the website’s support team. In your email, include the list of transaction IDs and game names to make it easier for them to assist you. Sending all the information in one email is a smart move for clarity and convenience. Hope this helps, and best of luck with your game transfers!
