Heya folks! After some deliberate thinking, I finally settled on just one project and focus on it, but my question is:
How do you make checkpoints or is it save points?
Cause I’ll be needing it for my project Truth or Dare and it’s a story with a lot of characters’ death, and I want to make some checkpoints/savepoints so the players won’t have to restart all over again when they die.

Not sure if this is what you’re after. But I built a method for putting in an auto save/checkpoints.
This is following from the thread on creating stories vs games in CS (thread ) and a lot of comments about the need for a save system to make more ‘game-like’ CS games viable. I have lapsed into a state of insanity and spent my evening coding a demo for a save system.
This is something I already had in mind for my own games and I figured I may as well procrastinate from writing actual prose to build and share this instead.
