Hosted Games Superhero Universe (MCU style)

These are fun quotes, but if the two of you don’t start using proper punctuation and capitalization, I can assure you that I will go for the head.

Am totally intetested. It sounds cool, am in of you are still allowing.

We are currently in the process of writing/planning already but if anyone does drop out I’ll add you to the list

Hope to have you as a reader however😀

Love the Idea
(So what Comic books have been doing to years)
Hopfully with different authors working on the different backstorys the story/characters will all fill unique and original (and not confusing and disjointed)

Yeah, the most challenging part will definitely make the characters seem like they belong in the same world.

But keep your eyes peeled though should have a wip for one of the characters popping up soon giving you an idea for what we’re going for.

Sounds cool but…

The problem I have with this is… while its fun and all, is going to take a lot of effort into writing and coding, and realistically might not come out the way we all want it to be.

First of all, if an author were to create a character that bases off Batman for example, the reader would not have much to choose from in terms of his or her character and personality. Sure, you could choose between punching the villain or shooting him with a railgun, but other choices such as should you be a nice guy and reject payment or be a practical hero and ask for it would be lacking in my opinion. This is due to the fact that if I choose to be a kind person, it would create a path where I’m more emphathizing towards my team in the joint heroes book, but if I’m more of a loner, it would change things massively, even the slightest details could change how the hero reacts with each other, especially if you’re combining multiple stories. On that, I’m also curious how you would import all 5 heroes storylines into one if I decide to play all 5.

So… while I think the concept is great, I don’t feel that it can achieve a CoG book but more of just a fiction story about heroes.

I do agree that the singular stories will have a more linear feel, but we have seen other cog titles with that feel, I do think however that the team up stories will have a lot of choice to them that we can then continue on to the other team up books too

Origin stories are hard to make non-linear as they do set up a lot of the story for the character but I don’t think that later down the line these characters couldn’t be opened up to a more non-linear story but for the setting up characters its gonna be tough.

One thing for you if you do manage to get several authors to work with you and build this little written “MCU”
You should have a Universal Title that goes along with what ever each author is writing that way fans will know it is part of the “Grand Plan”

If I end up ever making a book I would do this

This sounds amazing I can’t wait to see how this turns out
