Thank you for bringing these to my attention!! I’ll hop in and fix them soon and I’m glad you liked the update!!

@Gloomcat I’m glad you stuck around too! And hopefully the next update won’t be such a long way away!

@Takashi_Shin Hahaha! I love that picture and I really can’t wait to see what you do when you meet a certain “mysterious noble”

@LeoneWrites lol loved the update and aside from some typo type mistakes nothing major was noticed so good all around over all  just so you know I be like a offer I can’t refuse? Well mark me down for refusing it on principle :: Snickers :: sorry can’t resist but still might just because yeah shall be rebel exspecially when the time comes lol

Very much looking forward to the next update when ever that might be as well the curiosity I have with a certain picture. I think that was a brilliant way to include the customization of our MCs. So I shall look forward to that potential reveal and how it goes to the rest of the story though I have my suspicions.

Thank you and you can definitely do your best to refuse!

I’m so happy that you enjoyed the customization! I was a bit worried about it, but I’m glad it was fun to navigate

@LeoneWrites no worries I plan on multiple play throughs lol something I’ve gotten curious about and unsure if it’s been asked here or elsewhere.

What is the MCs approximate age when we start as a locust? I know we spend around 3 years with our chosen family group so also leads to the next question what’s the rough age for when we start the part when we’re older?

You don’t half to say but just has me curious

I don’t mind answering! So at the beginning, you’re around seven and you spend three years with your mentor, putting you at around 10. The update takes us forward ten years, putting you in your early twenties.

Sounds good thanks for the answering  now for a nap before work lol

Oh boy, this update knocked my proverbial socks off! Played it back to back three times and adored it every time. Still absolutely in love with the way you write and ahhhh Desma has my whole heart <3 I’m a big ole sucker for childhood friends to lovers and know exactly which of my MCs I’m gonna romance her with~ I’m really hoping the reason the twins aren’t potential RO’s is just that they wouldn’t be interested in MC like that and not that something terrible is going to happen to them or between them and the MC because I want these four to stay best friends 5ever.

The prologue still makes me cry buckets of tears, perhaps even more so with the additions and I love that~ “You are someone’s cherished child” does things to my heart!!!

Love the customization options, especially the fact that there’s more than one type of braids to chose from, and that you were able to tie the descriptor bits into the plot~ I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes and meeting even more characters. Thanks for sharing your wonderful writing with us!

When choosing to rob the two men when we’re older I chose to take them to their place and ransack where they’re staying but I always end up taking them to the alley. Is it a bug ?

I’m so glad that you enjoyed it and thank you for the high praise!! You’ll definitely be able to try and keep yourself and your friends alive. I’m glad you liked the variety of the customization and I’m open to adding any additional styles! Thank you so much for reading!

@Vicky Sounds like a bug! I’ll go check on it. Thanks for playing!

I haven’t played past the first chapter yet but boy I’m hooked right off the bat! It’s not often I come across such a well-written IF (a WIP at that!) with a nice writing style I can get along with. The scene with Beria and Subira is so good it’s outright heartwarming, particularly with a warm-hearted MC.:heart:

All in all, I’d be thrilled to see this game grow and get published later- no hurry in that since writing a fine piece takes time. Cheers!

Edit: Oh, and my heart broke when Beria said goodbye to my MC :smiling_face_with_tear: why you do this to me- that made me tear up a bit. Bloody hell, you wrote that part well.

OKAY, so this is really good?? Both the different potential character and skill builds, as well as the world building and the mystery of our past??

I love the way you have written this story. I have read many WIPs, and even in ones that I have loved there can be this one thing that immediately breaks my immersion: Say something bad happens to the character we play, and there is a social interaction happening afterwards where we are able to shape the character’s personality. If we choose something optimistic, then the text doesn’t try to build a bridge between the past difficulties and the somewhat positive action taken in the social interaction. Your story doesn’t break immersion like this, which I’m extremely happy about.

For example, in your story, picking an option to smile at someone after going through the hardship of losing your home, the corresponding writing said something to the degree of ‘even after this and that hardship, you tried to give a wavering smile’ instead of just smiling like nothing was wrong. It is a very small thing, but because it was done right, because the option chosen was fit into the narrative of the story instead of breaking immersion by ignoring it, I was genuinely very happy and fell into more love with the story

Also, the relationships feel very heartwarming here! The character build I was going for might have had a hand in this, but the friendship between the four apprentices is really well done, and the childhood family part was really emotional for me. I became so invested in the family fluff I just had to write a review kehkehkehkeh

Also you really caught me by surprise at the naming part of our character, I’ll see how much Turkish words I can fit into the narrative here ajdfajdgfa all my characters will just have to be named Sabah smh

Looking forward to future updates!

Thank you for reading and leaving such a kind and detailed review!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and I definitely tried to make sure that the MC could have emotional depth. I didn’t want to disregard what the character goes through and I’m glad that came across! I’m glad you felt immersed and connected to the characters! Also I’m really excited you liked the name selection lol Thank you so much for reading!
