I love the Count of Monte Cristo book and movies so this story was easily able to catch my attention! Plus, as someone who always plays a good moral character in games and stories I for once wanted just to be like Raymond Reddington from the show The Blacklist.
Read this story and even if I didnāt like COMC I would still love this story! So so interesting and well written. Iām here for revenge and canāt wait for more of this story. Brilliant idea!

A very refreshing plot which I never thought Iād be so immersed in. Remind me of those animes and K-dramas where the MC gets humiliated and leaves for a couple of years, only to return as a overpowered being/character.
Very interesting characters who kept the plotting for revenge fun. Looking forward to the next update.

Weekly Update - August 25, 2024
Hello, readers!
Iāve finished the event where we learn Michaelās secret. Iāve also started working on the event where we uncover Connorās secret (which almost everyone has probably figured out by now). The Michael event ended up being extremely chaotic, which I think is pretty fun. Thereās also a lot of space for future plots based on what happened. The Connor one will be more interesting for me to write, I think, since it will have more interesting ways to reveal the secret.
Iāve also started writing about our MCās campaign to become homecoming royalty! Once these two things are done, Iāll only have to write something Olivia-mancers have discovered by doing her relationship event and then I can write about our MC asking someone out for the homecoming dance!
After that Iāll have to write what happens during the homecoming game, the homecoming dance, and the homecoming afterparty.
And then chapter 4 will finally be done! I hope. Most likely though.
I also kinda want really badly to write a Marcus + Angela random event, cause our sidekicks really deserve some love, but Iāll leave that for the end or maybe the next chapter.

Been a couple of months since Iāve played it, but let us know when you start on the Oliva tutor route, shes by far the best character besides the Mc.

Weekly Update - September 1, 2024
Hello, avengers! New update!
This week Iāve had some work for my main job and some friends from a different country visited, so the wordcount is pretty low. However, I am happy with the stuff Iāve started working on today and I have a poll that you will likely love. Or hate. I donāt know, Iāve noticed Iām bad at predicting the public opinion.
So, Iāve started writing the reveal for Connorās secret, Patreons will be able to discover it for this update and also kinda see what happens when you start the reveal. Iāve also started work on the homecoming royalty campaign. This is where I want to use some user input. I have some ideas but Iām not really vibing with them. So this week weāre going to do another interactive poll, where I want you guys to tell me how you see your MC campaigning to become more popular! I love to see the creativity for our exaggerated use of money from some of you, so this should be fun.
Anyway, happy September and letās get our revenge!

You can be sort-of a dick on a few occasions (like not warning Olivia about Isaacās āprankā on her and such) but nothing life-destroying. Given itās been only a month in game would be rather early for that.

Weekly Update - September 8, 2024
Hello, revengers! Back at it with another weekly update!
This week Iāve worked exclusively on an event where we reveal one of Connorās secrets, and also get a possible glimpse on what our revenge on him can be. Iāve spent a lot of time writing about him lately, so I think I am more and more consistent when it comes to his personality.
Otherwise, the only other thing that happened this week was the amazing poll I held. And Iāve noticed most of you decided to just make fun of me. Which is fair. So let me just explain how some of the incredibly popular choices arenāt feasible.
- Throwing awesome parties
Love it. Only problem is that the only party that has been written in the game took many, many words. If we were to throw a party, it would be kinda weird for none of the ROs to be there. If they were, I would have to write a lot of possible variants for all of them. Which would be total overkill. This could work later in the game when the relationships with all of the characters are more established, but right now itās just too hard to write in a satisfying way.
- Start a cult to become a GOD
I mean, where do I even start with this? Really cool idea, 10/10. Only problem is that Iām already working overtime with all of these ROs and secrets and events and secondary stats. Thatās the only stat Iām really missing: āgodhood.ā Or maybe āperceived godhood.ā As I said, great idea. Maybe for a future game thoughā¦
- Beat up Isaac Freeman
That will happen in chapter 12, cause I canāt give instant gratification. You have to work for it.

I think we should do something awesome in our respective skill so that we become popular like throw a great concert if ure in music or win an important baseball match solely due to our efforts. Of course that awesome thing could also be setup by us using our sidekick.

Weekly Update - September 15, 2024
Hello, revengers! Another Sunday, another update.
Iām going to keep it short this week, Iāve only worked on the Connor secret reveal, which is shaping up amazingly. Iām starting to really like how this whole thing is looking. Next week I should finally be done with this thing and start implementing your amazing ideas to become homecoming royalty.
Sorry for the boring updates, Iād really like to say more here, but these things take time, especially with so many routes and results. Iāve already got 5 variables which represent how this event ends, and there might be another one when Iām done.
One thing Iād like to mention is that Iām interested in commissioning art for the characters. Until now Iāve mostly done a combination of my art + AI touchups and Iād really like to get a professional to do work on the Patreon content, especially since Iām considering bringing it down to the lower tier and more people are going to see them. So, if you know anyone good that does anime/webtoon style animations, or you are that person, please give me some recommendations so I can start setting something up for the future. As some of you know, I was interested in making the story a webcomic at some point, and if I find someone that I really vibe with, Iād be really interested in making that happen once I get a bit further in the story!

@Arrats_The_Creator I still havenāt written that part so the poll is still ongoing! And yes, those are most likely vetoed unless I somehow find a way to make them happen without adding another 10k words for no reason to the story. Oh, and, weāll beat him up badly. I plan on doing something really cool on that front.
@Prabhu Sounds good, itās a bit similar to what happened during the skill recruitment event a bit, but I can surely find a way to implement this. It might be one of the most feasible options.
