Hello, people! Trying to emulate the MC, I decided to prepare for 5 years to make my comeback like never before. After spending this time, training my writing every day, I’m ready to finally finish my story.
All joking aside, I’m sorry for disappearing for such a long time. Life happened and I am now a fully grown, working adult, with enough free time to actually make this work now. I’ve first gone through the first two chapters and was severely disappointed with leaving this project, since it was too much fun to write this edgy dramedy.
So, I’m back after making a lot of changes to chapters 1 and 2, while also writing and publishing a whole new chapter, where we get to finally meet all the targets in the present day!
Some major changes I’ve done for chapter 1:
- Added a new scene with Olivia before the Tragedy
- Made the Tragedy even more tragic
Some major changes I’ve done for chapter 2:
- You can now choose to change your gender during the character creation, select your pronouns, and choose how people perceive you.
- Added skills for hobbies.
- Added the choice to become financially independent.
- Angela and Marcus are both recruitable now.
To make sure this time I’ll get this done, I’ve made some changes about how I’ll approach the project. First of all, I’m going to do weekly updates here, where I will quickly give a run through of the progress I’ve made. Considering the feedback I’ll get, I’ll likely get more reasons to continue writing. Secondly, I’ve made a Patreon, to gauge general interest in the game. If you decide to support me there, you’ll get access to early access versions of the demo, get an invite for a private discord where I’ll constantly post content about the game, and do polls where I’ll decide what happens next in the story. Okay, enough self promotion!
Please give chapter 3 a read and please let me know if you like where I’m taking the story! I’ve also decided to make most of the game “event” based, where the gameplay will be similar to a dating sim or Persona, and you’ll select what to do each week, getting random events, relationship based events, and skill based events. As you spend each day living your high school life, you will learn clues about the targets and get to either hurt them at the first opportunity and wait for better moments.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see what you guys think of this chapter! And thanks for waiting for me for such a long time.

I am very excited that this is back! I never got to see it when it first came but it looks extremely promising and has a great deal of charm to it. Unfortunately I don’t have much in terms of feedback, I saw nothing that was necessarily bad nor something I’d have preferred to do differently. I love the variety of options and the comedy in each of them and I cannot wait for more.

Just read through the recent chapter and I LOVE the added difference in text depending on the gender. !!SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T PLAYED YET!! When I played the baseball skill route as a guy first, there wasn’t that big of a reaction but when I changed to female and saw how the guys on the team reacted to it, I just got really excited! It was a really fun surpise so thank you for that author!

Hi by the way the rich MC or financially independent MC hire up shady characters to do some dirty work for him like Isaac accidentally fall from the stair and kick himself in the nuts 100 times and the other unfortunate events

It was such a pleasant surprise to see this thread re-opened and a new chapter added to this WIP! It’s one of my bookmarked ones and I have occasionally found my mind wandering back to it and wishing it had been continued, so very happy to see it’s being updated again. Excited to dive right into the new chapter!

@FroggyTime_567 I’m happy someone noticed that. I’ve made a lot of random things that only appear based on random choices taken throughout the game, so I hope you’ll enjoy them all! Can’t wait for you to see what I have planned for the statue and childhood photo.

There really wasn’t that much slow pacing.
But again this game was so much fun, I love the high school aspect.
Will there be sports or clubs you can choose to be in?
But he anyway joined the bullies and the tragedy so he deserve the wrath of the MC
That was awesome!!! I love it when the MC is more active in the story, and the NPCs and ROs have more interaction with the MC and react to their choices. So thank you for this masterpiece, and I hope for more!

I know it’s a strange idea, but I would love it if the characters reacted if our MC looked like them in terms of appearance, especially characters like Isaac, after all, it’s quite a coincidence that a newcomer arrives at school with red hair and green eyes like him

So what’s the different type of relationship levels indifferent is the default what about antipathic,distrustful,intrigued, supportive can you give a rank based on all the levels?
