This is a phenomenal game and I love the mystery and romance with each of the unique characters. Does anyone know how to get Cecily to like you enough to go to homecoming as a date? And is Vivian a romance option?

You can find requirements for getting Cecile as your date a bit earlier in the thread. Vivian is not a homecoming date option since she’s got a boyfriend, but as far as actual romance goes, both her and Michael can be romanced.

Please finish the game its super fun! Though I realised half way through that I suck at playing vengeful characters. At this point I just want to be the friend of everyone. (Well expect for Isaac he really is a grade A asshole in my book)

Hear me out: paranoia gambit. You set up a bunch of instances to embarrass the group but still act as their friend and help them out (except maybe Isaac, he’s an asshole); keep them on their toes for months thinking at some massive school event, the shoe is gonna drop and you’ll ruin them. Nothing happens. End of the year comes around, you’re chatting with them and casually drop “oh by the way, did I ever tell you I changed my name? It was [MC name].” Smile as they realize the guy who’s been screwing with them is right in front of them.
Tbh, I kinda wanna keep pushing their buttons just because it’s funny to see their reactions. Absolutely love how Dylan flips out if you deliver that statue to him. Amazing.

can we actually murder isaac by the end? i dont think theres any more permanent method of ending his reign if terror than killing him outright, maybe at least let us goad him into attacking us and kill him in self defense.
best to make it quick tho since he’ll just enjoy it if we make it slow and painful. im thinking drop him off the roof, it’d be easy to call it an accident too plus it’d be pretty karmic
great villain overall he totally reminds me of ghostface from scream, great representation of a teen psychopath
one more thing, would it be possible to feel different about revenge for some characters compared to others? like i want answers from dylan and and olivia but i want the rest of them to suffer. maybe just a specific choice just to spare those two if not let us pick and choose
also kinda curious, are angela and marcus gonna be actual ros or is their romance purely using them? the code seems to suggest the latter. guess the mc is just too obsessed with the past to move on with someone new huh (you could argue marcus is too to an extent)

This is already implemented in the game – MC’s attitude is determined/tracked on per character basis, based on whether you choose to support them or perform acts of revenge. The sum of these factors determines MC’s overall attitude i.e. whether they’re looking for answers, or focused more on revenge. E.g.:

yeah i noticed the revenge counter (to me it seems more like a hold a grudge orr live and let live counter) but i was thinking the initial motivation thing, basically what the mc sets out to do in the first place. like obviously i dont want any answers from isaac and co (i already know why, they got their sick kicks from it) but dylan and olivia? and even haley to an extent? id like to hear why.

Initial motivation and what opinion you have on your individual targets determine initial state of the counters for each of the individuals (and overall) This incidentally lets MC alter their course towards some of people (or all, or in general with exceptions, etc) after you meet them and hang out with them.

isaac is literally so unhinged that it baffled me how he easily brushed off his homecoming revenge plan. you’re telling me all that carrying of that chunk of meat is for nothing? and don’t get me started on his homecoming date route. atp maybe making him paranoid about old MC’s return is the only way to get proper revenge on him lmao 
Or you could romance him and shatter his heart into itty bitty bits at prom. But he’s so slimy that I hesitate to do that, ever.

An actual revenge that would maybe hurt him could probably be shattering the immunity he and his little band enjoy and abuse, so that they’d have to shape up or face consequences of their actions for once. But i don’t know how likely that is.
