Hi, long time member returning. Just a question.

Hi, long time member here, way back to 2011 when I was only 15 (hence the cringe username) and tried working on a CoG at the that time. However being at that age, like most teenagers, I eventually dropped it. Fast forward to now and with my birthday recently having just passed, I’ve been really feeling a new urge to write a book since it feels almost like a like long milestone that I want to get out of the way.

So not to ramble on too long and make this post tiresome to read, I was just wondering if the community now that is it substantially larger than 2011, clearly, would you consider a classic fantasy still interesting as a setting or perhaps, what I’ve been considering and have somewhat started on with jotting down notes, is a Wuxia genre as I feel that is hugely underrepresented in the west. The last, and biggest Wuxia film I’ve seen cracking mainstream media and easiest answer for those who do not what that genre is, would be: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000). Hope to get at least one or two response, as I’m making this post just to give myself a sense of accountability that I did start this, and I will finish this. Thanks for reading my random post, and so glad to see how big CoG has become.
