@Daisuke, I never once said that I couldn’t wait for the game to come out.
Also, anything critical I say about the game is intended to help the development of future ChoiceScript-based games, whether they are official CoG games or hosted games or otherwise. I’m not trying to discourage people from buying the game and playing it. I didn’t say that I wasted three bucks. I don’t think it was worth three bucks to me, but it was worth something, maybe two. But if it’s selling well at three bucks, then CoG should continue to sell it at three bucks. I’m just one person with my opinion.

I’m talking about the majority of the people who posted at the ‘Heroes Rise - When Is It Coming?’ thread, not specificly you. And I understand a little helpful critism, i’m just saying to think of it from the creators view before some people say “Damn! Wasted my money!” and instead saying things about how the game could be better.
My main reaction at Beta Test time was: terrific game, but can we tone down the sex-objectification of every female character bar Grandma? Or to pull some specific suggestions from my feedback email: “Couldn’t Mme Vice just be hypno, not seduction? (Way less cliche, way more interesting). Can we cut the drooling boob references for Prodigal and Tarana? Can Jenny, a core character and good friend, be introduced with more about how you feel about her, and less on how she looks and dresses?”
Clearly I was responding from a different planet from most of the other folks who have commented on the game. Looking back over my comments, I even wrote that there was “a terrific sense of choice – even when many choices are in fact fake, they don’t feel offensively so.”

That’s true but the title image has a reflection of an evil character which suggests you could go darkside if you wished. Well thats what I thought when I played the game.
That would be a good one to play.

Huh? Title image? Evil character? What are you talking about? I thought the title image just shows a male and female version of the main character standing with their hands on their hips.

When i first saw it i thought the two people below were reflections of the main character (going the villian path) but looking again the female might just be prodigal, not sure who the guy is. but the way its set out looks like evil versions of the MC
Oh, I never saw the bottom of the pic. I’m pretty sure that’s Jury and Prodigal though. Hey, I just realized something. If his dad is the Judge, and he’s the Jury, who’s the executioner?
the guy looks nothing like a judge (which is what Jury’s outfit is meant to look like) but it definately could be prodigal, but prior to playing the game that image suggests you can be good or evil
It is Jury and Prodigal. Note the judge’s robes on Jury.

To be honest I liked way more Choice of Zombies, it gave you more freedom and the game did change depending on your actions.
