Heroes of Myth — Are you a hero, a liar, or both?

Thats why my MC didn’t support princess.

What plan?

NVM sorry just went back and re-read your post sorry. You were talking about the princess and min. @Sailendranath_Murmu yeah just changed my post if you didn’t see.

Not really. You got what you were owed. Became one of the most famous people in the kingdom with riches and reputation.

Non of that would matter if everyone knew it was faked.

Uhh…no.
Min and Prince were not the one who were involved in fake prophecy.
Please read the comments properly before replying.
Haha…we are editing post. That’s why we are not seeing things.

Yeah and you got what you were promised which was to become a hero.

This is a gentle reminder to please keep conversations directed at the topic at hand and not at the individuals themselves. Focusing replies on the individuals themselves instead of the topic at hand can lead to friction between members and often causes the thread to derail.

Please also remember that it is often not so much what ones opinion is that causes friction, but how one chooses to express that opinion. Using negatively-charged value words are a good way to start friction, as is generalization and sniping. Personal comments lead to friction and flaming.

Finally, if you see disrespectful posts please do not reply to them. Rather, please use the report feature and let forum staff deescalate friction.

I’m kind of the opposite.Though “betrayal” made me “furious”,Min and Evander irritated me much more.I always chose deception for my mc,and nothing is more humiliating for a liar who took pride in his lying skill than being seen through and confronted by righteous outsiders.

You can’t lie to Min…so no matter how good a lier you are, they will find out.
And as one of the most brilliant students of academy, Prince will find out about the truth since we’re always together.
It’s not MC’s lack of skill.

I wouldn’t want to kill Letha. But as a revenge option I wish we could have seduced the princess to marry MC instead of her, the cherry on top would be that MC would also get power if the princess gets crowned as queen.

Princess would most likely ignore you if you even tried lol.

I definitely did but, between Letha and Min I wanted to murder Min more since I felt they were a more accessible target and their human lie detector powers were a threat to our lie/secret. I felt the best way to hinder their plans was to just get rid of them altogether.

Probably. Guess she is more into warrior types than mages (and liars). Or as far we know their relationship might have started with the princess wanting influence over one of the heroes and Letha was the easier target. Anyway since seducing her isn’t an in game option we can only speculate.

Long Character Rant

summary

So glad to know I wasn’t the only to outright hate(or atleast be angered) Letha, gaining renown as a legendary hero throughout the lands is great or atleast it would’ve been if we weren’t unknowingly in great danger.
Most of the cast can be annoying at times since they want the thruth to get out, but luckily they keep they’re mouths shut since we’re tecnichally the only ones capable of defeating Cadafel. Besides atleast Verity had the decency to atleast ask us about it and can be convinced that it’s better this way and I couldn’t help but go for her as soon as I knew she was a half-demon.
Unlike Letha who not only told the most powerfull person in the kingdom, she didn’t tell/warn us about it saying that coming to visit us would bring suspicion(which I call BS) and when shit start happenning instead of talking to us her first action is to have us jailed thinking that we’re behind it and if you tried romancing her in the prologue(or atleast have a good relationship) she tells you the she consider us their best friend. Bottomline is Letha while a very honorable knight, she’ clearly very untrustworthy.
Min is a liability there’s no question about it, but I don’t dislike them, they used their power in the best way they could and deduced the truth on their own and I can respect that.
Alvis came of as a bit too anxious/paranoid(?), but I chalk that up to getting worried people were about to find out he’s a fraud and that he was going to get kicked out of the academy.
Evan can be so naive sometimes honestly if Despina wasn’t so haughty, plus my beef with Letha, I’d probably would’ve helped her keep the throne willingly. They both seem as opposites when you consider their methods, with Evan thinking very altruistic and driven by his ideals meanwhile Despina tries to think more realisticaly choosing the option with the best results(most of the time).
Meredith would’ve been my RO, but she was so secretive that I couldn’t get to it. Atleast it ended well enough, since I opened the portal and convinced her to stay.

There’s another check I don’t understand. When the portal finally opened, there’s mage stunned.I remember the first choice is to tell her there’s a town to save, the second is to warn her about her position in the academy, the third I can’t recall, the last is to inform letha..I think these choices are traits related?
Also, there are several choices about staying calm, which stat does it related to?

By the last chapter, several choices are testing stats in the Aims and Ambitions section of the stats page - things you’ve accomplished throughout the game. That choice specifically is testing Heroic Reputation for the one about saving the town, Academy Influence for the one about the Academy, and Letha’s Vindication for the one about Letha.

Depending on the circumstances and how the rest of the option text is phrased, staying calm could be a lot of things. Most likely Subtle or Aloof, but I’d need to know the specific choices to know for sure.

This is pretty good, though I wish you had the option to change if you wanna romance someone in these games. I didn’t think I would want to romance anyone (as it usually is for me) but I was halfway through the game before I realized I did and I didn’t want to restart. Does romancing someone change much? I feel like I’ve missed out.

You can start a romance at the beginning, middle of the game or at the end game. No need to restart.
There’s many opportunities to start a romance.

Actually, there’s an option near the beginning of the game in a conversation with Letha to say you’re not interested in romance at all, and that turns off all the romance prompts for the rest of the game, which I think might be what @DGE is talking about. It’s intended as the aromantic option, but it might not be clear enough - I know a couple of people have been confused about it. There is unique text related to being aro in a few places, although not as many as I’d have liked, and there are a couple non-romantic-but-romance-adjacent things it doesn’t turn off: politically marrying Evander and having a casual relationship with Alvis.

As for what romancing people changes, there are some specific lines and options in various places, but aside from the actual sex/romance scenes, you can also hang out with people platonically and have fairly similar conversations most of the time. The main exception I can think of would be the romance scenes in Chapter 9, which don’t really have platonic equivalents, but you do get a unique scene with Meredith that you don’t see if you’re romancing someone.
