If you have 19+ intelligence and some engineering skill, there should be an option during downtime to make a new device. A propulsion engine is one of the options.

I took a bit of a break during the holidays, recharged my batteries, and have now worked a bit on the next update to the game (added a few thousand words for the next free update, and continued working on the first DLC.

@Denzil_Melgior_Nagel @tbs9090 yes, you should be able to enter cheat codes more than onceā¦ though I fear at one point the game might breakā¦ mmmmm
@0roxson0 thanks for pointing this out (post 1558). I have now made it that regeneration speed will be recalculated various times during the game, so hopefully this issue you highlight will be addressed in the next update (I have also made changes to battle royale, though the update to that might take a bit longer). Regarding the suggestion for the speedā¦ yes, you are indeed correct, as otherwise this results in an overkill! (have modified the code in all the fights). About the armourā¦ the thing is, being able to have an armour that is too high results in the game being imbalanced? (any suggestions on a better way to improve this?)
@Darthsoup I cannot remember if the new powers where there in the last update, let me know if you still cannot see themā¦

@Andy_Apple I have rectified the long gloves problem (should how be the same as gloves). However I cannot find the issue with the hatsā¦ Can you send me screenshots of the options you are given (and of the appearance of your character already)

Hopefully in the next update more of the new powers should work for playtesters (might have found the bug, but please let n me know if you still canāt use themā¦). It should now also show correctly in the stats screen

@Godspeed thanks for the reports! When wearing a suit of armour you are now considered to have gloves (obviously, as you mention). Also, added web shooting to animal powersā¦

@Pedro_Aires I was a bit confusedā¦ If you are an inventor and have an armour you already get all those protectionsā¦ Why do you want to add them again later? (Can you explain further?) Or, you mean if you start as an inventor without an armour why you canāt install such protection?
But yes, if you have an armour you shouldnāt be able to use Kevlar, so removed that possibilityā¦
@Pedro_Aires thanks for the suggestionā¦ Lowered END requirement to 19 but added max hp must be higher than 80%ā¦ Otherwise END higher than 50. Hopefully it makes sense and further nuances this?
About the nanoparticlesā¦ Interesting ideaā¦ Though does it really affect gameplay? (I cannot write remember any instance when it doesā¦ Or you mean just for cosmetic purposes?)

Oh I understand what you are trying to say about the armor cap so now the only problem I have is that you said that making small improvements can bring the armor to a maximum of 40 but the small improvement choice greys out once the armor value reaches 30.

@Frankex_2272 thanks for the long post, it was very encouraging! About the card gameā¦ it would certainly have a small print through kickstarter, for whoever is interested, though at the moment it is yet another project that I need to find time to work onā¦ hopefully I can get to it during february or march! (I seem to always do this, completely overestimate how much I can get doneā¦)

@Mlz the second book is a bit more linear than the first, partly due to it having been out for less time (basically, I keep adding to both, but more has been added to the first story due to it having been out for longerā¦ and less people generally providing feedback on the second). I also take the point that not everybody likes the āgoing into space thingā. Book three should eventually return to Earth (well, one of the paths), and allow to complete the storylinesā¦
@Ramidel I corrected the bug about the resources being carried from Earth, hopefully this will now be rectified. Also, found that building many things did not use the resource points, rectified that.
@Xplicable_Supply in the new mission I am coding I added some uses of the time flow/stop abilityā¦ but if you can think of any specific instances in the game I am happy to add them in!
@DreamSoul glad to hear that you work at an animal shelter! while doing fieldwork I have on occasion rescued cats and found them homesā¦ two years ago all my xmas presents were donations to charities (including animal shelters), though this year I just donated to the relief of the victims of the latest typhoon in Philippinesā¦
@Travis_Larowe so far Charlotte is not a RO. Basically few people have requested this (I think you may be the first? She doesnāt seem to be so popularā¦ if you were to go on a date, where would you like to take her?)

I have a suggestion when using the time stop ability. So basically, when you break into a shop to Steel money from, you can use the time stop ability to pause the cctv cameras, so no one will see you and you will keep your relationship score with the captain.

Iāve played through multiple time and wondered whether i missed something
in being able to romance charlotte, i agree with @Travis_Larowe would love to have her as a RO as well.
@Denzil_Melgior_Nagel agreed it would also be good during the costume party or when/if you choose to steal the stone in the museum.
@adrao also if you still open to power suggestions, it would be cool if we could erase/alter memories or brainwash our enemies to do our bidding, a good example would be during the fight with the ninjas, or the vampires in the mansion before you reach the head vampire.

@Denzil_Melgior_Nagel that is a nice suggestion! I will try to implement it tomorrow when I am on the plane (though I did submit the latest patch to CoG 2 hours ago, so it will be v.1.4.3. before this gets implementedā¦ and you know how things are with my releases, sometimes it can take forever).

About the trainwash powerā¦ in theory it is good, but structurally it is very difficult to implement in the game, as it then results in a fight where you have an ally on your side (I had some of these in Battle Royale, and they take so much time to write, debug, etcā¦ doing one of these could eat my time, and currently I am trying to get all my latest updates out so that I can continue working on Armaggedon and other WIPsā¦)

Well, preferably just before going to the Philippines. Basically, the last time you can select a side mission would be a great time to take her on a date, since the option to spend time with her is not even available at that point. Maybe you can slot it in somehow.
