I remember that there was a magic academy in both of the games. Is that somehow a clue for timeline.

Wait a minute! In LoaW, isn’t the wizard academy in Tornassa? In LH, I don’t think it is, since at the end of LH1, Tornassa and the Academy are two different places you can hide in.
Am I right?

In Lost Heir, the Academy is on an island in the Silver Sea (aka Eastern Sea). 
So, the big question, where will the Academy be in Hero of Daria? All will be revealed!

Damn it. I’d just figured it out. Tornassa gets destroyed in the Demon War and rebuilt into the state it is in in Life of a Wizard.
Though actually the Wizard’s Academy is not the only clue. There’s a Full Cup Inn in the rebuilt Tornassa… a place named like the one in Elmvale where the King of Daria spent his formative years. In one version of that tale anyway.

When/If Tornassa gets destroyed in the Lost Heir, the Academy is already firmly established as being a large tower just off the coast, several weeks’ journey away. Down the road from both Opal Cove and Brightwater. 
But, in Life of a Wizard, the MC travels to the capital city of Tornassa to attend the Academy and sees royalty there.
So…
A) Lost Heir is first, and the Academy leaves the island and moves to Tornassa.
B) Life of a Wizard is first, and the Academy leaves Tornassa and moves to an island.

- I think Life of a Wizard is first. Something must have happened to the Academy in Tornassa and by the time Lost Heir occurs, it’s been rebuilt into a tower several weeks away, just of the coast of the Silver Sea.
- I think Lost Heir is first. Something must happen to the island Academy, forcing it to be rebuilt in the capital city of Tornassa.

For a little while longer. When you see where the Academy is in Hero of Daria, you will know for sure… unless it’s in a third location.

I still say LH has to have been first, for all the different non-human races to go from mostly peaceful cohabitation to literally myths and bedtime stories there’d need to be hundreds if not thousands of years difference between the stories.
Or some kind of WiB group that went around neuralizing everyone in the kingdom.
In which case the question is: why?

I thought we already knew Lost Heir and Life of a Wizard took place in different universes since magic and demon summoning works differently in both games and there’s no mention of the Som’Reth or Soul Burning in LoaW?

Here’s my theory.
Life of a mobster comes first, that world becomes more technologically advanced which then leads to life of a starship captain (I think I remember hearing somewhere that you were writing this), I’m gonna assume that there are different alien races in this, these different races (including humans) settle down on a planet, for whatever reason ships and such stop visiting this planet or something happens so that they can’t traverse space anymore. These different races, maybe they ‘do it’ and have some kids that resemble the races in the lost heir and what not which then leads us to now. (A little far fetched, but maybe some universe changing event happens that causes spaceships and all to become non existent, and it also happens to create magic that is in the games we see now.)
