And I’m totally working on it, but for the life of me, nothing is showing up in my code to show me why. I’m waiting to see if I can get an answer from the community to why I keep getting this because it is not showing at all when I look it over.

With the error on line 227 I think it might be because after the two tab indentations, you also have a space and it doesn’t seem happy about that. However, I could be totally wrong about that. Hope this helps.

I might be a little late to the party but the book was good. I honestly don’t see many books where the perspective is from some evil being. I saw a lot of people also mentioning something about an error 277 which I also had. The book also made me chuckle a bit with the way the MC views everything. From being a terror incarnate to a much weaker being. I can’t wait to Carry on reading. Time to kill some insignificant creatures with fluffy ears, a fluffy tail and sharp claws

I kind of like Imogen just because she has no business surviving this nonsense and that makes the fact that she continues to do so all the more potentially interesting. I don’t really like casually murderous protagonists, so keeping her alive kinda makes the whole game more enjoyable than it otherwise would be.
I’d much prefer to be the type of evil overlord who corrupts or dominates the wills of their enemies rather than just casually murdering people though. I’m not sure how much this game is going to allow for that though. I mean, the plant lady seemed to almost recognize you, but then you seem to have no choice but to kill her because she doesn’t quite figure things out.

Donovan and Imogen really didn’t stick with me. If I was an evil dark Lord, which I’m not, I would probably keep around the more entertaining and useful ones and off the boring and uninteresting. Kaja somehow was able to cement herself into me and I’m sure I would never be able to harm a little hair on her head. Even the poll proves how loved she is with highest chance of being kept around the lowest chance of kicking the bucket. Villas is okay I guess. He was useful enough to reincarnated me-I mean the MC

I think @Soundwave is right about the error. If you delete that space before the sentence on line 227 then it should work.
I also got an error because the orientation variable is missing.

So I am baffled at needing to ask, but for the sake of argument,I will open up the subject. I do what that audience wants and am willing to consider the idea that it might be wrong even if I don’t think it is.
Should allowing the player to change form or gender over the course of the game be removed and the first starting instance be the only one in the game?
- No, that’s the core mechanic
- Yes, it’s pointless and should be gotten rid of

I’ll go out on a limb and say that most want it, but general opinion is how we learn if an idea is actually good or just stupid and will at least consider the possibility that I’m wrong.
