@jeantown No pressure, no pressure. I’m just excited and stir-crazy.
(And I seriously can’t believe I got away with that without a mod yelling at me. Maybe it was the Godot reference that threw them off my trail. )
I just read that play a week or so ago actually in European Drama!
And also…after reading the code of another game and realizing just how much content I had missed (much to my frustration and delight), I was just wondering…when the second half of Book II is released, with all its hard to reach sections, can I/we see the code so I know if I’ve missed anything? Pretty please?
@jeantown, you only have a projected 100,000 words left? Yes! Keep up the great progress! I don’t care how long it takes, you’re doing awesome!
I do have something to ask though. Awhile back you gave a tiny preview of your Morgana novella. Any chance we could could maybe get a tiny preview of the Aruthur one? I’m not trying to pushy, I’m just curious.
@_deltarhythm, your drawings are amazing! How could Guen not fall for a Morgana that look like that! Have you done any on Lancelot?
@buggygirl11 Believe me, I’m stir-crazy too. This has been an insanely long amount of time to go without being able to share anything! I certainly don’t mind anyone looking at the code, although I have no idea how you can view it on Dashingdon… Someone was asking about that a while back; maybe if you search on the forum you can find out how?
@Outrageous Oh, that’s lovely! Thanks for sharing it!
@Kattz INT solidarity!! Apparently we’re pretty rare… it’s lonely being so brilliant!
@_deltarhythm WOW those are BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the freckles! Thank you so much for drawing them and sharing them with us!!
yep yep! I never would have thought that that wouldn’t seem like a lot, but here I am. And the parts that remain are going to be really fun to write.
Actually I think that was from the Arthur one? The little snippet where he’s talking to Kay? But maybe I’ll pull some other tiny part to share, if I can find something appropriate.
So were there any plans previously talked about in relation to introducing a Guen/Arthur child? After this play through I got a little concerned about the whole securing the throne thing and what that would possibly entail.
Thank you! All the mechanically hard parts have now been written, so I can enjoy focusing on character interaction in those last 100k words.
That was how it worked for dropbox, but for dashingdon I had to upload the compiled file because the game has too many scenes. I’m not sure how to view the code for a compiled game on dashingdon.
@bobsmyuncle has answered this pretty well. Do check out the FAQ if you haven’t already; it has just about everything I’ve said about Guen’s possible child.[quote=“bobsmyuncle, post:8072, topic:1996”]
Either way your concern is justified - the end of the series will involve MAXIMUM DRAMA regarding succession to the throne

That is indeed the plan.
The current word count for the Morgana prequel is a little lower than for the Arthur and Lancelot prequels because the Morgana prequel has a complete, detailed outline – I know exactly what I’m doing with it, scene by scene. Things for Arthur and Lancelot are more hazy. I know where the plot is going for both, but I’m still not 100% sure exactly how I’m getting there. So I’ve written more of them, to try to figure things out, knowing that the Morgana prequel is pretty much a done deal and all I have to do is flesh out the outline. The Morgana prequel is also probably my favorite of the three.
Replayed this over and over again in the past couple of days and I’m so in love with it! Your writing is perfect and it’s great to see a game with more mature scenes. Please don’t change that ever!
The characters are so well written and I constantly feel myself being torn over Arthur and Lance. Guen is also perfectly crafted and I’m happy I’m not railroaded in to having her a certain way. I really can’t wait to see this completed. Please keep up the good work! Also I couldnt help but listen to the witcher 3 soundtrack while playing as some songs just fit with the scenes so beautifully
@Katie_Emmett Yay, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the game! Thank you for your post; comments like this, more than anything else, really do keep me motivated to write. And now that you mention it, I should try listening to the Witcher 3 soundtrack while writing… Thanks again, and I hope you’ll like the rest of part 2 when it’s finally finished!
@Vattena Yes, Lancelot will always marry Elaine no matter what. If Guen has a child with Lancelot, the child will be raised as Arthur’s, because any alternative could wreck the kingdom.
Interesting idea! I won’t rule it out, since I don’t currently have a specific plan for Galahad to be a squire to anyone in particular.
The grail will still play an important role, and Galahad will be the Grail Knight – with a major twist.
