Chapter 3 Public Build Now Live
Hey guys, I’m excited to announce the arrival of the public build of Chapter 3! This chapter is 95k words by itself, bringing the current demo to 197k words (with code). In this chapter you can:
- Customize your MC’s appearance
- Learn more about your bond with Tempurion and why you have weird dreams
- Develop s childhood crush (or don’t)
- Increase your stats

Think I found a typo.

Pretty sure, the “if” should be an “is”. Should be in line 181

Monthly Update: March 2025
Hello everyone! It is once again time for the monthly update. February was a bit of busy month between the chapter 3 public update, and it being my first month of Patreon content. I also got sick a little earlier this month. (It was minor enough it only cost me a day or two). Still I managed to add 18k words to Chapter 4.
My plan for March is to focus on getting as far into chapter 4 as I can. I plan to update the upcoming chapters in two parts, primarily to keep me from getting overwhelmed, but also to help me update consistently. Chapter 3 got so big, it was very overwhelming for me near the end, and while I hopped chapter 4 would be shorter, now that I’m writing, I have the distinct feeling it will not be.
I also decided that to celebrate successful first month of Patreon, I am going to make one of this month’s bonus content’s public. I let the free members vote on it, so keep an eye out because that will be released later today.

Hey guys!
I’ve been slowly adding some quality of life things to the game, mostly fixing typos, but I’ve also added a new section to the stats screen to keep track of your time powers, and I’m in the process of coding in a skip ahead feature, so you don’t have to replay the whole game each update. All of these additions should come out with chapter 4 part one.
That being said, I would also like to add some stat balancing with the next update, especially because chapter 4 incorporates a lot of stats, and it would really help me out, if you all could send me screenshots of your stats screens when you finish the current demo.

Monthly Update: April 2025
Happy April everybody! I made a lot of progress over the month of March, and I’m pleased with how chapter 4 is coming along. It’s currently sitting just under 35k words (with code). I can’t remember if I said here, or just on Patreon, but I decided to split chapter 4 into two parts so I can update more frequently. This has definitely made the chapter more manageable for me. (I never want to make a 100k word update again. shudders)
I’m almost finished with the skeleton version of chapter 4, part 1. (When I call something the skeleton version/draft it means I’m writing all of the common routes, and one choice variation of every scene.) That means that the first part of the month will be focusing on finishing the skeleton, and the second part will be focused on filling in the other choice variations.
I also added a way to skip ahead to the new chapter, so you guys won’t have to reread everything again. I haven’t tested it yet, but it’s coded, and I’ll release it with the next update. I hoping along with chapter 4, part 1, that I will be able to add some quality of life fixes to this update, so after I finish the writing I’ll be looking over the stats screen to make sure everything works properly.

Progress Update
Hello everybody! I know this isn’t time for my usual monthly progress update, but I just wanted to share an update of how progress on the latest chapter of Guardian of Time is going.
I’ve mentioned before, but just in case anyone missed it, starting from chapter 4, updates will be split in half, so the next update will be the first half of chapter 4. This week, I managed to finish the skeleton draft of this coming chapter update! If you haven’t me use this term skeleton draft before, it means that I have the chapter (4 part 1) written from start to finish, but only one choice is each choice block is filled in. I call it the skeleton draft because it’s not quite a true code skeleton, but it’s not a full rough draft either.
I still have to fill in all the choice blocks, and I plan to go back over chapter 3 and the stats screen and make some quality of life fixes, so I don’t have a great estimate for how soon the nest update will be, but this is a milestone I thought was important to share!

There actually aren’t a lot of opprotunities for this in the current demo, but in general the best eay to get approval with her is to do whatever she tells you without protest.

Monthly Update: May 2025
Hello again! I spend April plugging away at chapter 4 part 1, and as I mentioned last week, I managed to finish the skeleton draft. The rest of the month has been focused on filling in the rest of the choice branches. The chapter currently sits at 51k words, so by the time I finish, it will be another raher large update.
May will be focused on filling in the blank branches of this chapter, and if I have time, I’ll move on to making a few changes to chapter 3. I won’t be doing anything particularily large, I just want to change the scene where MC decides how she views Lord Igor and Lady Amalia. I also want to check the relationship section of the stats because I think some of those aren’t displaying properly. I have also updated the monthly schedule on Patreon, so that if available for patreons to see what bonus content is slotted for the month.

Monthly Update: June 2025
Hey guys! I’m back with another monthly update. I’ve been working hard on the next update, which is coming out to be much bigger than I initially imagined. Chapter 4 currently stands at around 75k words, so I added quite a bit since last month. Despite me wanting this update to be smaller, it may in fact be another 100k words update by the time it’s done.
I also posted an FAQ and some RO profiles on my Tumblr (link in the first post). Overall, I’m pleased with my progress this month, and I hope to keep up the momentum for June. The only other big thing of note is that I will be taking a trip later this month for my one year wedding anniversery. It will be a short trip, but will still eat into my writing time.
