Ghost Simulator [published]

This is more of a personal issue to me, but I feel like the romantic elements in this game are excessive to the point that they ten to overshadow the other relationships of the cast, and the whole ghost aspect.
Every main character in this game has a significant part of their character and problems having to do with their romantic life. Ollie and Becky, Amber and Laura, Michael and Samantha vs Nicole. Even the main character is forced to have a romantic partner. It just feels like all romantic drama, all the time.
But again, it’s probably just me and my personal preferences and expectations. I was going into this expecting this to be more family focused rather than primarily romance, so it’s probably just the game not being more clearly described for what it is.
Since I don’t want to come off as a complete Negative Nancy, I will say that the scene you get when spoiler] Sam reads Amber’s poem and tells her that she accepts and loves her for who she is [/spoiler] is incredibly heartwarming. I wish there were more family moments like that.
