I was wondering if it would be possible to appear holding, or just hold the lover’s body when the police look for you. Having the only options be negative or curious seemed weird.
- My OC’s proper grave, planted after the events of the game in memoriam of the man who lost both his life and love in the shadows of the mysterious and now legendary Edgeworth Manor.
So, I was finally able to finish the game. Looks like I have to choose between Lily and Michael. Can’t I save both? Great game by the way.
I think there’s some bizarre variable error there, the game suddenly uses the MC’s name as some other character’s name (spouse perhaps? Since Violet talked to them as her sibling… whose gender also swapped to match the MC’s)

Made me cry, love it and hope there is more deep to the end.
I was trying not to read much more before the official publication, but couldn’t help myself and reread the entire thing ^-^’ I shoulda gone to bed an hour ago, so I won’t write much, but I absolutely love all the new changes and all the little details that help flesh everything out.
I do agree with other comments that chapter 5 needs more work (though I entirely understand it’s a WIP and also a first draft), but I do hope you include an ending where we can continue to “haunt” the brooks in a friendly manner. It’s been a while so I may be misremembering, but I think I recall this being discussed as one of the endings planned (I think?) If not, I would adore it if it were added. I can understand how this
would be a really cutesy ending for a ghost story however… so maybe it should only really be possible for ghosts that truly strived to help the family, and to care for them? Especially if you choose to save the Brooks over your love, especially if you’re a sap like me and choose the love letter every time you play the game lol
Alright, that’s all I have time for now sadly. Maybe if I get more time later I’ll come back to add more, but this is what I felt like sharing the most. I’m a big ole softy and want the happy ending my ghosty butt worked so hard for XD (hell, make it a challenge to get that ending if you want, it’ll probably make it more sweet for the effort.)
Maybe I just missed a clue somewhere, but I didn’t even realize the first flashback (at least, I think it was the first…) wasn’t in real time until after it ended. I thought I was talking to a ghost William as a ghost. Didn’t realize I was reliving my memories of him while we were alive.
EDIT: Ok, on my second playthrough I realize what text I missed before.
After several playthroughs, I’ve noticed that when the Brooks gather to discuss the weird things happening, they talk to each other about what you are able to do, and not what you have done. They’re somehow aware of which abilities you’ve chosen, but not aware of which actions you have and haven’t taken. For example, on my most recent playthrough, they mentioned seeing me appear in various places – I had taken Apparition, but actually had never used it except at the entrance during the Halloween party. They all mentioned feeling like they had been possessed – I only possessed one of them and only once.
Even if you do absolutely nothing and just observe, they will still discuss you like you did something.
Eh, well, you have to do something, at least the first time. There’s no option to progress past waking up in the attic without using a power at least once. But yeah, definitely weird that you can do almost nothing and they still think you did all these things you didn’t do…
Maybe they accept the supernatural so easily because they have psychic powers?
I mean, usually it’s claimed you can feel the presence. Eventually they’d catch on.
That was a hell of a WIP! I really enjoyed this!
Indeed, I will give you that. However, it’s one thing to feel something or someone’s presence, but it’s quite another thing to accuse them of something they didn’t do. In the entire game, I was only possessing Oliver once in the attic at the start.
I wish there was a way for us to be brought back to life
I’m ok staying dead if it gets me that threesome
How do you romance?
You don’t. It’s not a romance game.
