The Brooks acknowledging the ghost as part of the family will be one of them for sure. Actually, the family can start regarding the MC as an ally as soon as in Chapter 4.
There is a short sequence in Chapter 3, too, in which Amber acknowledges you and talks to you as if you were a person for the first time. This happens if Rita and Laura end up together in the party.
