Generic Introduction Thread? .v

Hello, I’m Daisy of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I’m a graphic novelist and a writer. I just adore these Choice of Games simply because the amount of effort you guys so obviously put into your work, the freedom you give the player to shape the story their way as well as having engaging, additive plots to each and every game. I always await eagerly for what you guys will do next and I hope you have a long line of wonderful, successful text based games. ^^ KEEP IT UP!

Hi, everyone! You can call me Viri. I found Choice of Games through TVTropes (‘Video Game Caring Potential’ had a link to Choice of Broadsides). I’m an aspiring author, so the biggest appeal Choice of Games has for me is the quality writing style. I love building characters through these games, and as someone who fancies herself a character writer, a wonderful part about CoG is that a certain amount of roleplaying is encouraged. This helps keep replays fresh and makes me feel a little less like I’m just ‘playing a game’.

I’m also a lesbian, so I was ridiculously glad to see that playing as a gay character will always be available to me here. My initial reaction to that was basically…

“FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF YES.”

Chibz here. Love RPGs, Choose your own adventure type games. Love playing, thinking about writing.

Hi. I’m Hannah. I hail from southwestern Virginia. I probably sound incredibly childish to you all. I have played all the CoG games and haved enjoyed each of them. I like to read. I also just realised how boring I must sound.

BeacauseISaidSo: No you don’t sound boring at all

Well, hello everybody  I’m a Amanda and I live in Sweden. I’m 18 years old and I adore the CoG games. haha, don’t know what to say… I always finds it so hard to do these presentations. I love reading, writing and play video-games (and other thngs ofcourse). For the moment I study drama while I wait for this bright idea about what to do ‘when I get older’.
And english is not my native language so I hope I don’t screw up the grammar to bad

Eira: You blew my English out of the water.
I put “haved”. Just another failure of the Virginia School System.

(insert generic introduction here)

Hi, I’m Steve. Live in england and I’m 15.

I find it really great that CoG has attracted such a diverse crowd. I hope we can learn from one another!~

Hi, I’m Jack - 31-year-old English/Trinidadian chess player. I may take up the challenge of writing a Choice Of game.

I’m Marcin (Martin) and I’m from Poland. I can say something like “Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz” without breaking my tongue ;] Programmer, gamer, game-designer, writer and so on… oh, and of course a proud author of “Imprisoned”

Hey, I’m Kareem, a 14 year old student in Michigan. Learned about choice of games when I was surfing the app store around the time Dragon came out.

I attempted my own CoG, but had to temporarily put it down due to a busy schedule. Hoping to continue it soon.

Hello Everybody, I am a 15 year old Sophomore student in high school. My name is Cole you all can call by my User name or C-train as others call me at school  My hobbies include writing on a site called Watt pad, playing video games, French club, and reading. I live in California in a town north of Sacramento. I am a full time student. I found CoG after I bought my Kindle I bought dragons and broadsides. Which brought me to this sight to look them up. I now spend my time playing and replaying the games here.

Okay, I’m Andy. I’m English but I live in South Korea with my beautiful wife. I’m an English teacher by profession but my passion is maths. I also love travelling.

I’m currently writing a Choice of game about a race in Peru. There’s a demo available to play in the forum. The thread is called ‘New Game: The Race’

I’m Amanda, a sixteen year-old student from the west coast of the United States. I’ve always loved creative writing and video games, and I discovered Choice of Games through a Jay Is Games review of Choice of Romance.

The thing that grabbed me immediately was the freedom you give the player in your games, particularly the options for same-sex romance. Being bisexual myself, I’m pleased to see video games (and other forms of fictional media) becoming more progressive and inclusive. I think Broadsides just might be my ultimate favorite, purely for the depth of the story and the amazing consequences of your actions (The ending you receive by making Defender’s crew horribly disciplined and very happy is just priceless).

Right now, I’m writing a ChoiceScript dystopian science fiction adventure with a focus on life and death. (I also have many other side projects going on, but not in ChoiceScript)

Everyone How do you change your profile picture.

What an interesting initiative this is! Seeing the colourfull ensemble of people here you folks should join up in teams and develop even greater and bigger productions… I will have more games to play then
With all the coders in here you could probally create a graphicial point & click ChoiceEngine(c).

Alright, gotta run. My dragon hasn’t had a princess in at least 3 hours.

@Michael That litterly made me LOL :-)) But not exactly what this forum is for.

@cool74 it’s in the profile area. You have to upload a picture

@Kamer sorry as you clearly see I took your advice and it worked thank you very much.
