Game restarting when I leave it

Soo, I am playing the game, but when I close the game to do something else, when I come back to said game, it’s story has restarted to the beginning. Help

Hi, could you specific what platform you are using, what kind of app(omnibus/standalone app/website version) and if it happens to all the CoG/HG/HC titles you got?

Which game are you playing? A dashingdon.com hosted one?

Games usually restart when an update is in-progress.

I actually had this problem while playing A Pirate’s Pleasure on the Chrome Browser. I downloaded Heart’s Choice and it worked just fine
