Fell Star (WIP) [Updated 04/03/2022]

@Lonily Haha, MC can certainly be ‘playful’. There will be moments where MC will be able to be playful in general during the story, and be able to tease the romance options. An MC who acts as though everything is okay, but it isn’t. This will certainly be a ‘front’ that charming, playful MC’s will use as a façade to keep people in arms length. Of course, certain characters will notice this and might call MC out on it.
@Bulk_Biceps A bit of a drastic choice, as the end of your life will simply make them continue a new experiment all over. They just might try bringing you back again with a different Homunculus. You came to life, did you not? It just proves to them that they can bring you back as many times as they want to make you obey. :eyes:
@yb_minhee Thank you for reading through it all and I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the demo! Fret not, Asol shall make his appearance, as I’m sure he’ll be surprised to see you alive. And yes, Blood MC is always a joy to write and explore. (And Amaryllis totally deserves a punch to the face)

@Player.Pk … … thats a good point… my trust and faith in humanity has declined by 5%.

Intriguing concept. I can already feel the Mind Screws coming.

The MC is also quite unique, being someone who is created to stand opposed to humanity in one way or another, only now to have to basically become a human. Their character growth will be delicious, no doubt.

Reading that the MCs heart is in someone else’s body made me gape a little, never saw it coming.

For some reason I’m very angry at the humans. How could they do that to the MC? All my MC wanted was to live a peaceful life or at least death. Why do mortals keep interfering with things? sigh

Other than intense feelings of anger, hurt and despair, I really enjoyed the demo. Can’t wait to see what the humans want from the MC. Though I don’t think that I will be much cooperative

I don’t feel I know enough about the locked aspects of the MC’s personality to make informed decisions. If you choose to be peaceful, there’s a complete lack of consistency that utterly breaks immersion. I’m actually not even sure why the peaceful options are there when the MC is quite obviously not peaceful when the player isn’t given a choice.

@Player.Pk overall I’m enjoying what you e put forth so far and I’m looking forward to what comes next.

As well woe unto those who think they can control a harbinger lol even if it takes time they are so going to suffer for messing with mc and who knows how many people.

@Oreven I’m glad to hear that this caught your interest. Thanks for reading the WIP!
@Mei_Hiroshi Aha, I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the demo. As for not being cooperative, The next update will allow you to be… ‘Uncooperative’ with them.
@geldar I totally see what you’re getting at. When I was making those options, it was more of a ‘reluctance’ than a ‘peaceful’ choice since in the end, there won’t be peace. I should probably rephrase it better to make it not sound peaceful. Sorry bout that.
@Valixon I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the demo! And I agree, tis a shame that mortals believe they can control a Harbinger, the very being who had casted judgement upon them years ago. It seems there is a need for order to teach them their place.
@Zeus I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the demo so far. Thanks for reading!

The MC doesn’t sound very reluctant either:

As much as you’ll love to be the villain and just drain away all the blood of the soldiers, you want the templar to panic. He is a commander. A kind one at that. He’d rather bear the burden than to see any of his soldiers fall before his eyes if they’re to fight you. And it is that kindness that you want to take advantage of.

He’s finally bleeding.

A wicked grin forms

More.

You want him to bleed until there is nothing left.

The MC sounds downright evil to me.

Asdfghjkl ah yes, the the Blood Path. (Totally forgot to take in the other Paths to account.)

Thanks for pointing those out for me, I’ll be sure to get to them to make them sound less evil in a way. ^^

Honestly, that one sounds the least evil to me, at least based on the choice description. That’s specifically why I chose it. But also, the choice text doesn’t give you any sort of indication of what you actually do with the blood.

Yeah, you’re certainly right about that.
I’ll be sure to fix those up to make it so readers would be able to see what they can expect from the next option. Thank you for all of the suggestions so far!

Also, based on the code, apparently I was supposed to select this option if I was meant to be compassionate:

Reluctance. I never wanted this, but I shall accept the consequences of my actions, even if it saddens me.

The reason I didn’t select it is that I don’t know what my actions are so I don’t know whether I wanted this or not. What exactly did I do?

Again, you make good points.
I’ll be sure to go over them to make them sound better.

Sounds interesting

Can you check the save system please? Cause doesn’t matter where I load, it takes me back to the first page (the prologue pic)

That’s weird.
It’s working for me when I go through it, save randomly and return to the spot I saved.
I rechecked the smPluginMenuAddon just in case, so maybe it might be working again? If not, then I don’t know why yours is sending you back to the Prologue.

Kay I forced chrome to hard reset and cleared the cache, guess that will do it cause this is weird af, first time that happens to me

This looks cool! I feel like my MC is set to destroy everything and everyone. The only 2 people they’ll care about is the Child, and Ae-Ri. I definitely will have to follow!

I had a few questions about the MC.

Are we gonna be able to get back to being a powerful badass that it seems like we were?

Can we eventually kill Asol out of revenge for what he did to us, or are we gonna be forced to move on with out closing that door?
My MC would want to end him on the spot. There’s no coming back from what he did.

Similarly, please tell me we can go nuclear on all the people who brought us back?
I don’t care who they are as people, but I feel like my MC wants to destroy them.

Can we give the child consistent hugs and head pats?
Regardless of my MC’s intent on blowing everything up, they would want nothing more than to show the child love.

I really think this is a cool story!

Fan of revenge! :sunglasses::+1:

My MC want it too.
They are almost obsessive about their freedom and independence, woe to all who have done this “thing with bringing them back to life” and try to control them.

I think that even falling in love with one of the ROs will not change their plan…
Extreme. But well, even I was pissed off (usually reading IF doesn’t make me feel such intense - being mad at fictional characters :joy:).
