Hi everyone!

Last Dream is officially in BETA TESTING!

I’d like to share with you the final cover.

This is the first time I draw a cover under the supervision of my pencil mistress, but I am quite satisfied with the result.

Feedbacks, help, suggestions are always welcome!

and thanks to @AletheiaKnights for putting this post in the right place. I messed it up!

It’s really beautiful! :star_struck: (I’ve done the posting-in-an-old-support-thread thing too, no worries!)

This is a great way of thinking about it!

Love this option. XD

I’m so sorry for your loss. May the happiness of your memories with them outweigh the sadness of their passing.

Heya everybody. I’m kinda losing my mind rn, regarding motivation to do anything, so uh… Thanks for being here. Having people to talk to about the thing always keeps it fore front in my mind which helps keep me motivated.

Last month I started working on a new story, short enough to finish this year. I created a very high level outline (a flowchart) and broke it up into three sections. My first goal was to get section 1 completed in January - I did not achieve this, but I came somewhat close.

I’m going to adjust my expectations based on January’s performance. After watching this very insightful video about writing themes (link below), I have identified the main theme of my story and am writing a new outline with this theme in mind. I am hoping this will help me to better flesh out the plot and characters ahead of time and help me keep on track.

So my goal for Februrary is to complete my new, more detailed outline, and finish the revised section 1.

Has anyone else seen this? I found it very helpful and insightful.

I had a meeting with a consultant about my heart yesterday and have been informed that instead of the TAVI operation I thought I was having I am instead having open-heart surgery which is a lot more scary to think about.

This will be a half a day operation followed by a week in hospital and get then at least 3 months recovery time.

Also, I have to get my kids tested as it is congenital (spelling?)

Oh, man. That’s all kinds of scary, and an absolutely massive life disruption. Hopefully it’ll be a lifesaver in the long run, but still, no one wants that kind of news. :frowning:

Feeling for you, man. Sending you prayers, hopes, and warmest thoughts for a full recovery – and for good news from the kids’ tests, to come as soon as possible.

In today’s news, I did some folklore research and realized some of my characters I created years ago utilize, correctly, concepts (from my culture, that is) I didn’t even know (consciously, at least) even existed.

I am sorry to hear the news of your new surgery requirements, but happy that your children will find out sooner than later.

I, too, send you prayers, hopes, and warmest thoughts for a full recovery – and for good news from the kids’ tests, to come as soon as possible.

Thanks. I’ve actually got a tentative date for the operation now which should be on the 26th of February. Which is a lot sooner than expected but gives me less time to worry.

I’ve finally begun to start my first IF. After reading countless IFs from CoG & Hosted, I feel like I can do it. It. Will. Be. Glorious.
