Right? I chose to use “Mother Humping C***” because go big, or go home. So when I saw the option to say such a… colourful exclamation, it was an auto “NOPE.” I mean, red flag much?

Smallish update for everyone. Good news and bad news. The bad ones are that it is taking longer than expected to wrap this one up for publication. The good ones is that it is because I am adding a lot of new content to it, focusing especially on more interactions and history.
Unfortunately my schedule got even more thrown out of whack because of issues at work, I am a union representative, and let’s just say that the last month have been… busy. Not in the good way. Have had to focus on that right now, but have no fear, I am still working. Just a little bit slower since there’s a lot more going on.
Also, the cover is almost done, it’s looking real sweet.

I usually get the name Nightmare in the game so I just had the idea to name the elite henchmen the Dream Team because when I can’t sleep random things just run through my mind

Another potential scene that would be nice (not sure if I’ve previously talked about this) is:
The MC and Ortega (or maybe Steel if the relationship is higher) are standing in the middle of the thundering rain after another heated argument of trying to get closer to the closed off MC. Drama ensues between the former teammates.
MC: (Starts to walk off before their arm is grabbed)
“Will you just quit it?!”
Ortega: “Not until you talk to me! You really expect me to believe that after all this time I don’t deserve to know at least a little of what’s going on with you?! Did I… Do I really mean so little to you?”
(Shows a moment of vulnerability)
“You may hate me for this but I need to know.”
(Face once again an unreadable mask)
[details=Love Scenario: ]
MC: (Laughing incredulously)
“Mean so li-…? You’re a real idiot you know that? Well you know what?! I never stopped loving you! God, hate you?! Thinking of you was what got me through that hell hole! And the reason why I keep trying to stay away from you is because you mean too damn much to me!”
(Starting to break down)
“I’ve lost so much I… I can’t stand to lose you too. And… I’m. Just. So. Tired… So please… stop.”[/details]

“Mean so little? Ortega it’s been 10 years. We’re practically strangers now. Hate you? I just barely feel any more for you than I feel for a random passerby on the street.”

And whether or not BS is called on what the MC said is dependent on how low/high the relationship bar is. Their actual sincerity/what they want to portray is decided on prior to the execution.
(i.e. An MC is in love with Ortega but wants to push him away. She decides on the hate scenario and it plays out but the Ortega relationship bar is too high. He, therefore, immediately calls BS and says that she is in love with him which she can’t deny after the previously failed attempt to state otherwise.)

From what I’ve gleaned from pursuing these thousands of post and been told after inquiring about the stories I must read I have arrived at the conclusion that Fallen Hero is on the top five list. Sadly, I have turned up too late to actually receive some sort of taste which in turn has revved up my wanting to a degree most fierce.
I shall keep an eye out for when this elusive tale becomes available and you can grantee that I will shove my money into your hands with gusto. Until then I wish you luck on all your final endeavors~!

Well, good news then for all your waiting people. Most of my real life stuff has now been resolved, and as soon as this years union negations are done, they will all be resolved. I received the print proof of my first comic today, and as soon as I am done with the bonus material, that will also be off the list (and out this September) so there is soon nothing in the way of me working full time on Fallen Hero (and the cover is done for that too :)).
Another thing, the longer it takes now, the more new stuff you will get. The proofreaders will know that there’s a lot of more stuff already.

I believe it is more than speculation that these wonderful people (myself included) would not mind waiting a little more extra time for Fallen Hero to become a complete epic.
