Alright, a bit later than I planned due to a winter infection wreaking havoc with my system. It is out now though!
This demo is focused on the Innocent Ending, where Sidestep broke their legs but none of the Rangers suspected foul play. There are currently three out of four ending paths available, you can choose to stay with either Ortega, Herald or at Tía Elena’s ranch. Steel’s path is coming soon, I am working on it. For now, enjoy the others.

The demo is about 163 800 words including code, 140 700 without the code. It averages 31 500 words per playthrough, but can vary between 25 000 to 39 000 depending on what has happened so far.
Not entirely happy with the pacing, there is a lot of talking, but it’s hard to do much else when stuck in bed. Like with everything, this opening will be polished, reshuffled, and added to later. The original Retribution started with the bridge fight, so expect changes. I just need to have the base out so I can start finetuning later.
