Fallen Hero: Revelations (WIP) Updated: Feb 07 (new demo links)

It’s okay, we’ve got the Rat King~

I’d argue that just makes them a better pet. :v

He’s a dog in a story about supervillains. He never had a chance.
That dog is getting kicked.

It’s a partner in crime, not a pet.

I mean, they’re comforting but physically still just brains in a jar. No offense, Rat King xD

I don’t know if I talked this here or somewhere else, but why I have this weird impression of, like this works being perceived like a dark and pessimistic, somewhat nihilistic kind of story and I don’t get it, this is a very bright and hopeful tale, is this literally me? is something wrong with me?
I’m very depressed out of late and returning to this story is just what make my day, the original was way darker in comparision.

It feels hopeful (and eventually… affirming? maybe?) to me, as well. Maybe it depends on how you approach it? I’m not sure.

Maybe is because I still remember the first impression I got when I read it in the past as a kid, but, hells!, the story we have now is still not safe for kids consumption either XD

Same here (which is one of the many reasons why I love the series, I love dark stories with a undercurrent of hopefulness Lies of P being a recent example too) though you can most certainly lessen it by playing as a murder Step

Murder!Step is a bit too edgy for my tastes, as in so edgy it become funny type of way, Depressed!Step though… ugh, that’s dark.

Darkness and anger can be affirming, powerful, uplifting, and encouraging too!

I know that better than anyone, was in more than one self-help group helping and being helped, and that, for a lot of people that’s just heaven.

I have now a blog (On blogger, and yes fuck you social medias. You are all terrible to use).

@malinryden I’m still your fan. Always will be. And yes, I’m still gonna get your game, try to stop meh. I need Ortega in my life! Lol

You can find my blog here: https://museechoes.blogspot.com/

I have been away, and been tinkering with Ai mostly. Made songs, and pics and been fun.

So, Goodbye in a way! And remember that Ortega is Life!

In the second game there was a reaction to being called Heartbreak, where there wasn’t one in the first. And I was wondering if a similar reaction could be included for naming your villain Void, especially after the Void dream.

2.1 (saved Sidestep with H/T and escaped afterwards. Blissfully unaware of the Impostor.) // 2.2 (saved Sidestep with H/T and escaped afterwards. Knows of Impostor and ran.)

I don’t understand something here. In both paths Sidestep escaped… 2.2 makes sense but why did they escape in 2.1 if they are unaware of the Impostor?

I think in both cases it means that they weren’t arrested by the Rangers.

Oh, yes, that was it. I remembered it wrong that there were endings where MC escaped from their base

I always end in 2.2, and don’t know how 2.1 is possible, rescuing yourself with only your hench sucessfully is amazing, but I think that path don’t let you end in 2.1 in any way, what made 2.1 possible? having your body at the care of someone else? what are the main epilogue tied to that route?

Certainly it’s the only truly appropriate pet for most Steps.

Rat King is best boy.

All this talk of animals makes me wonder how Step would see snakes and their mindscapes. Or if Step would even take that chance to mentally connect with a snake.
