All my evil Step will be doing is fixing what Shroud tried to do and failed. And anyone who betray or try to fuck with my Evil step is a dead body walking. Morality has no place for my evil Step. Itās them vs the world. And if you canāt win against the world, then make sure you take it down with you.

There are 4 different imposters chances are one of them donāt start off hating your guts and going by some code reading there might just be one. Imposter 4 or ip4 to be exact who has a stat called ivar1 (The other 3 get ivar2) who gets this tag

I really hope that can happen but more than anything I canāt wait for them two to meet especially because my MC has a very Codependent relationship with their Puppet.
Also, cool to know Iām in the 30% of people who ended up being stuck in the puppetā¦ and for me itās every single timeā¦

Hmm I donāt think it will be possible for Step and impostor Step to be friends for a obvious reason if you were asking that and Iām not being a idiot. Also welcome to the stuck in Puppet club while not all of my runs ended that way my main one did

As I said I hope they can be but I know itās probably a pipe dream and if there is a chance for it I donāt see it happening without a lot of begging for forgiveness from Step and maybe physical fighting between them.
but I do think there could be a chance it may happen without a fight and begging because of my own little theory about the Puppet which I have said before on one of the forums and the theory is if you learn about what happened to Ace and look at every piece of information to do with them it kind of suggest they knew this was going to happen I mean I donāt think they knew everything but they knew enough especially the line you will pay for this trust me Shroud.

I picked the choice Eh, I was still stuck at the Rangers at the end and I had the Herald talk happen twice in a row and I donāt know why either because I have picked that choice a few times and that didnāt happen before.

Also, you know in the 1.2.2 ending does anyone know how you get people to come see you because so far only Herald and Steel show up and even then I still donāt know how I got Steel as itās only happened once so yeah does anyone know if other people can show up and if so how?
Iāve tried that a few times and nothing if anything it just keeps getting me the Herald bug.

I think you have to be friends with them/romance them for them to visit you while youāre stuck in HQ. Since this is an early demo, itās possible to have a setup wherein you killed nobody (and had sympathetic motivations), romanced your best Ranger, and are still stuck in Ranger HQ after being revealed as the villain.

Gah!!! So glad to see this rolling forward again, even if it will be a good little while before the whole thing is in my hands, but the world is just a better place with a Fallen Hero project in it. 
Also I would point out that @malinryden has several cool side stories on their patreon so if you have a couple bucks to spare itās worth a month just to see some of those. Assuming they are still up, I havent subbed since about half way through the last one.
And No I am not a paid spoke person!

Iāve taken a large break from supporting WIPs and going through the forums. It was taking so much of my life up that it felt like games were taking forever to get anywhere.

While I donāt really mind if something takes a while because it hopefully means itās being given the time and effect it needs to be good I do get wanting a break from WIPs when so many stops getting worked on especially long WIPs are the worst when that happens.
Thoughts about the end part of the demo !Spoilers!
Meeting Ace the gun ending:
When we first wake up I understand why we donāt act scared or shocked because weāre still out of it from the nightmare and think itās not real but when we realize it is we act way too calm for someone whoās coming face to face with the person thatās been dead for gods know how long like it even says in the last game I think that we watched Ace sleep and looked all through their mind only to find nothing of them lest and thatās not even talking about the fact weāve been using them as a puppet.
I mean I get weāre trying to defuse the situation without anyone getting hurt as itās obvious that Ace is mentally and emotionally unstable right now for many different reasons but the whole thing just feels off because weāre not scared or at the very least really fracking the f out about the situation that we never thought would happen out plus from meeting them to them leaving just happens really fast.
Meeting Ace the choking us ending:
Other than yet again it happening really fast I donāt have anything bad to say about this one I liked the choices they make sense with whatās going on as we donāt at first even realize itās them and when we do itās too late Ace has already left.
I have to say I really love that we used the name we had given them instead of Ace at that moment because for my MC while he does see Ace as a person he has only known them as Stiles til recently so it would have just thrown that whole bit off and read/sounded wrong to now be calling them anything other than Stiles.
Now with all that being said Iām so happy weāve finally met Ace and I canāt wait to see how the dynamic between Step and Ace plays out from now on and as Iāve said a few times already Iām really hoping for them to been friends maybe even found family if Iām allowed that much hope but I wonāt lie Iām more looking forward to the drama because I like making my MCs suffer.
Big thanks for the information because the more I tried to see if I could get different people to show up the more I was just getting the Herald bug and it was starting to make me feel a bit crazy.
Also, you know how in the other games if you made Step and Ace look identical or very similar looking other characters would mistake one for another or would even actually bring it up in conversation like Mortum did in the last game which can I just say that whole part was very heartbreaking and actually made me sob a lot.
So yeah Iām very interested in seeing how thatās going to play out in this game now that youāre going to be in the same room with other people because I canāt imagine anyone not bringing up the fact that you look like twins and Iām also wondering if Ace themself will bring it up at some point when they feel betterish.

I didnāt even know other people could go see you besides Herald :')
But looking at the code the ones that can go see you are either Herald, Ortega or Steel (the last two only if you talked with Herald in Retribution after the villain reveal, otherwise he will show up)
The order the scenes are checked is:
Summary
ā¢ Herald - if your relationship with him is āheartbrokenā or if you were flirting
ā¢ Ortega - if them donāt think youāre a re-gene copy and you were lovers/flirting
ā¢ Steel - if your relationship with him is ācomplicatedā and you were flirting

ā¢ Herald - if Ortega thinks youāre a re-gene copy and you killed Blaze

Me too! I always thought Ace was pretty interesting and had hoped to see them and Step being partners in crime someday (though, if Iām being honest, seeing them moving on their own after so long is still a little bit strange)

Here are a couple more quotes from Rebirth that may or may not be related to the Void.
Thereās a moment in Rebirth when, while visiting Ortega in the hospital, Sidestep changed the colour of the lights from green to yellow:
The overhead lights are set to a low, pale green that you suppose is meant to be restful, but it just makes you feel ill at ease.
Reaching out, you run your fingers over the light switch, and the hue changes into the warmer, yellow tint of sunrise. Thatās a lot better. You donāt need to battle those kinds of memories here as well.
Could be memories about the Void since they were triggered by the green light (plus Ortega was there as well, and was also hurt).
In the Void dream Ortega and Sidestep were connected by wires/cables; there were cables on the floor in the Heartbreak dream too:
You can see the cables snaking across the floor, leaking rusty, foul-smelling fluid.
These cables are obviously different, the Void dream ones didnāt leak fluids and they served a practical purpose related to Ortegaās powers, but the imagery is eerily similar:
The wires snake across the room to you, dreamlike umbilical cords biting your feet.

I found a bug, in the no one rescues you start, if you romance Herald, (probably because of certain choices in the scene?) he can visit you in the room twice with the same interaction, it goes interaction with him, dream, same interaction again just with different introduction text, which Iām guessing isnāt intentional X)
But now to gushing!
I love this series, so much, I was going to not play the demo, then the temptation grew so much!!! I have since played it 4 times (Iām going down the list of my sidesteps at this point) and loved every single one!
I also have found a character that has finally dethroned Ortega as my favorite, and will most assuredly be doing a run dedicated to getting as much time with them as I can when the book comes out.
Gushing about the character
I met Arde and had quite literally the meme āIāve only known him for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone then myself.ā Reaction to them, the interactions are so sweet even with how little of them there are so far, I love them so much!!! (I couldnāt pick up if they had a gender, I was too busy thinking about possible interactions and such, so, using āthemā for them, but bottom line is, Iāve known them for, all of probably 10 minutes max and I absolutely love and cherish them already, Malin is amazing and so is this series!)
