Imagine the fanclub avidly watching the battle from the sideline vying for autographs and booing the heroes. They try to ask about your hobbies as you have Ortega in a headlock and their struggling free as you tell them you love chocolate cake. Ortega pauses for a moment remembering all the times the MC has eaten chocolate cake but shakes his head at the ‘coincidence’.
Now this raises the question, is there SidestepXOrtega fanfiction and have either of them read it? Oh that conversation would be a fun read.

@Loveless Can you imagine him getting into a fight with the other fanclub, do you think the sidestep fanclub supports shipping with other heroes or has Herald found it distasteful? Well he’s proably gonna have to get over it either way if they end up romanceing the MC.

If the Sidestep fan club is particularly persistent then they may have noticed the sparks between the MC and Charge so there is either some mad shipping or jealousy going on there.

Yes, I remember once saying that I thought of the Rat King as a pet, the Puppet as a weird sister, and therefore the MC, Puppet, and Rat King as family.
Someone else made an adorable comment about how the MC settles in with the (no longer comatose and fully conscious at this point) Puppet on the couch to watch the news report of their latest crime. The Rat King sits in a nutrient bath filled fishbowl on the table next to them as they eat popcorn.

Okay but like if this Sidestep/Herald fanfic was a thing, it would be so obvious that Herald wrote it. Yeah we all know that there are some crack shippers out there, but Ortega knows that Herald is a Sidestep fanboy on top of not being in the hero scene anywhere near Sidestep’s time. It would be so obvious that he wrote it.

I imagine Herald’s fanfiction just being the worst quality writing too, like over-sexualized, really choppy, and thick with cliches. His username is also based on sidestep’s name, like ‘stepAside123’

Steel has to have an outlet, and no Steel the wall outlets that charge your suit don’t count. Maybe he likes online games or something… hmm Can’t be junk food or eating since he’s constantly trying to stay in top shape. Maybe he likes bird watching?

I feel like Steel is really into tech so maybe he just fiddles around with gadgetry or spends his time keeping up with any new hardware or software both on the market and in development? Maybe that’s a point that a tech loving (if they chose that they recognized Psychopather’s gun tech in the flashback) MC can later bond with Steel over.
