What!? Now you’re saying the puppet might be a trap from the Farm? Where in the game have you got that impression?
Theories within theories, answers that raise further questions, threads of paranoia slipping out… This is honestly me right now trying to piece everything together and probably getting it all wrong:
This is like, the first time I’ve played a choice game where I’m seriously obsessed with a RO. Ortega is amazing, and the angst and uncertainty that my MC is feeling just gets to me. I so rarely get this well rounded of a character development for my ROs. I found myself thinking of him even after finishing the game. So thanks~ great game.
On a side note, can Steel be romanceable next or next next game? He’s very interesting, and it’d be pretty spectacular to see the character development in him as well as the MC if that’s possible. The warring feelings that would occur if that were possible - I can almost taste it xDDD
Here is some options that will increase puppet individuality
Summary
-I like taking a break from my telepathy now and then
-…really good(this will only appear if MC and Puppet have a different gender)
-this feels weird, like the body on the floor belongs to someone else(this only appear when the mc injured but i’m not sure…)
-my employer wants the best
-Being anybody but myself sound really good right now
-Making yourself your rival
-…at times like this,i love being puppet
-i put the blame on my boss
this just some option that i’m sure will increase puppet individuality,Basically feel comfortable with puppet body and treat them as different person to increase puppet individuality
you will see the difference if you go with mortum or with high individuality when watching the news as puppet and some other scene but i don’t really remember when exactly…
@Anathema idk but the puppet just seemed too convenient and special to just be a nobody. like i said earlier, an attractive person with no family, friends, and reputation just happens to be there for the MC to use? has no memories and ethnicity was hard to pinpoint? and the MC just happened to find them when they started planning to “rebirth” themself after escaping? idk man. seems really sketchy
there’s also the puppet’s resemblance (?) to the Heartbreak villain as seen in the flashback. idk but puppet really seems like they’re from The Farm. i have another mini theory that the puppet is possibly an escapee of The Farm too and may even plotted their own coma. tbh i’m just throwing whichever sticks to the wall.
So I went with mysterious and featureless armor with telepathic booster and rocket boots. I played the cunning and anonymous villain, focusing more on mind control and deception, so I named myself Legion with the idea coming from Mark 5:9 in the Bible. My victory against my foes went exactly as planned, taking no damage. My puppet has romanced the doctor, while my MC has romanced Ortega. I have a henchman, Argent is MCs friend and Legion’s nemesis, and no one is the wiser.
But guys has anyone considered this? What instead of the puppet waking up what if it’s actually part of the MC consciousness remains/getting stuck. So in a sense that separation is creating a new consciousness of its own?
What if it’s actually that their mind is fused together because accident and the MC personality being the dominant because their power is the cause of the mind melding…
oh wait…but that doesn’t explain the mumbling…
That’s more or less what I think it is The more the MC thinks of the puppet as a separate person, the more they are leaving an imprint on its otherwise blank mind.
That, and the puppet’s personality is a bit more … wimpy? and also more cheerful than the MC.
But the puppet might be reverse-controlling or at least influencing the MC’s thoughts while they’re in the puppet’s body? The MC sometimes catches themselves thinking about their main body in third person while possessing the puppet body.
The MC’s mind being stuck is possible, in which case we have an impending multiple personality disorder.
I think there should be a warning thing for naming the puppet after yourself too. I mean most people would just shrug it off saying it’s a common name or something like that, but I’m pretty sure some people would say it’s a strange coincident and even that is something what my pragmatic, overly cautius MCs would avoid bc it’s a risk.
It is official: I love this story! Ortega is Best Friend Romance, oh man. My MCs being a depressed, detached determinator who is still deeply in love with their past flame (and in denial about it) was fantastic. The epilogues delivered awesome character building at the end of the story, and wow I felt some feels about what my MC had done. Great story, can’t wait to go deeper down the rabbit hole
