I think they mean Wen.
Their description is quite confusing…
Damn that letdown then why the heck she has relationship chart in first place if we can’t do anything to her
Friendships are relationships too. Your level of friendliness with different folks affects some level of different responses sometimes. Also, if you try to get yourself kicked out of the inn (busting doors, etc), the person you’re most friends with will speak for you to convince Mrs. Dupree to let you stay. She is an easy “friend” to help
I’ve been trying to win over Wen but I’m suspecting that that’s not possible. Who can you definitely romance in this game?
Leah/Lamuel and Daisy/Dandy are the only ROs in this part of the game.
I really loved the game. I discovered this game after I saw sordwin, so yeah, I could play both the games back to back! Honestly, this saga has immense potential! The background and scene context is great which helps in the imagination. The romance option’s are satisfying(). The twists are supreme (the best twist and spoiler was when I discovered that the evertree inn was built by the wood of a magical tree called evertree and I went oooooooooooomg!). I can anticipate there can be 5-7 books in this series given that there are many cities in the backdrop and heck it could like the adventures of titin! It’s supremely captivating and the ending matches with the entire body of the story and the writers style also blends in with the characters. @ThomB keep up the good work and don’t stop. This saga is worth every penny!
Thank you for sharing! She looks incredible!
Would anyone know how you get Dandy/Daisy to go to the tree with your group?
Romancing them is the easiest cuz it’s the best way to raise their percentage
Yeah it was pretty easy when i romanced him but I’m getting ready to do a playthrough with L so I’m trying to work out the minimal percentage for him to come along. I’m thinking it’ll probably be something like 60+ hopefully not 80 though.
Think they only come with you if your romancing them, not as friends.
I vaguely remember bringing them along without having to romance.
I think you have to sleep with them but make it clear that it’s a one time thing, otherwise you’ll a very scorned elf.
Oh I’m thinking about them joining you at the end if the game, my bad.
You actually only need 25 points with a non-romanced Dandy/Daisy to successfully get them to tag along! I had a total of 28 points with Dandy on my run where I allied with Gunther all the time and got a full party for the woods.
You can get enough points with them before it is dinner time.
Dandy/Daisy friendly approval before dinner
・Take a bath! [+3]
・Dress smart. [+5] (but you actually get [+20] if you’re dressed sexy and actually meet Dandy/Daisy.)
・ Don’t break into their room with brute strength. People do not like that. Set relationship to [1].
・ Introduction [#Pleasure is all mine!] for [+5], then [#Yes, absolutely yes!] for another [+5].
・ Don’t lie. If you’re from [Veyawin] or [Tyr], choose to [#Tell the truth] for [+2]. The others are all neutral.
・ [#Are you on your way to Lux?] -> [#Concert] for [+2].
・ [Regard them also.] for [+2].
・ [#Isaria Evenveil] and then either [#I’d love to!] or [#Impressive!] for [+2].
・ Now. You can [Blatantly look!] [+2] or play it cool and gain no points. I’d advise to then leave Dandy/Daisy alone to have more time for other exploration.
!!! Do NOT leave in the choice menu where you can [Blatantly look!] at Dandy/Daisy. It’ll result in [-10] points. Only choose the leave option in the general questions choice menu.
You can get to around [34] points here dressed smart, possibly a bit more depending on your background. Roughly [55] if you’re dressed sexy. That’s already more than enough to get Dandy to join you later.
At dinner, don’t try to sit with Gunther. You’ll get no points with him and set your standing with Dandy/Daisy to [9].
If you were to sit alone and are not lovers with Lamuel, you’ll get [-10] with Dandy (cause why are you sitting alone when you’re free to have and he is sitting right there??). This can be offset later, before going into the woods, by choosing
[#Some explaining to do.] [+5] Dandy/Daisy, [-5] Lamuel/Leah
and
[#Magic.] for [-5] Gunther, [+5] Dandy/Daisy
I hope that helps.
This was an enjoyable game overall. The mystery was interesting, and the characters were fun.
One issue I have is that stat boosts are directly based on the clues you have found. One potential risk to this system is that if you don’t have the right stats you might not be able to find clues, which creates a bit of a vicious cycle.
Anyone want to cast some theories as to why D likes it so highly (+5 to relationship, rather than typical +1) if you say that line near the end about the tree sounding like incredibly powerful magic that you’d like to see? I wonder, because D silently but apparantly strongly agrees(?) or just strongly appreciates your sentiment(?) but still says “Okay I’m out” wanting to get far away. unless you convince them otherwise
Or–if you convinced D to help in the forest–where they slept that night?
MC slept beside their pony, but I’m personally doubtful D would have done the same.
