- Keep this texting feature but we will have to wait longer for updates
- Remove it and we will have updates sooner
Umm…why bother remove it when we can keep it? I mean the author worked hard for it. So nahhhh. It’s all up to the author and we weren’t really presented with those choices. Let’s just be happy.

You won’t get updates sooner even if I remove it (which I don’t want to, because like @French_Fries said, I really worked hard on it). As it is, you had to wait exactly 1 week for this update, and it’s not gonna be any different for the others.
The texting won’t be present in every chapter tho. It’s just a nice add-on I wanted to include for the immersion and because it’s fun

Loving this so far, the text messages pics were a great idea, simple and yet it gives so much immersion to the game.

The text messages are nice but as a non-english person I think it would be better to have correct english and no abreviations or slang.
I’m definitely not a fan of the text messages but on the positive note it’s original.

Well, I mean, I’m not a native English speaker either 
I tried writing them in a way that’s easy to understand for those too that are not native speakers (like me lol), so I included as little abbreviations as I could. But some people just… use them all the time. It’s like a modern accent I guess. Roga will always use correct grammar and whole sentences f.ex, Atin also kinda prefers texting in normal sentences, but Quinn uses a lot of slang just in general and their texting reflects that. I think it would be very much out of character for them if they used complete sentences while texting. 
Oh, and an other thing: the chat won’t change your relationship score, no matter which option you choose. So you will get flirt points only in face-to-face conversations.
But still it’s an interesting suggestion…

Wow, wow, wow, English also is not my native language, but slang is always nice, it’s “giving” text more “groundness”, real speech feeling:p

One small thing that might need upgrading for later editions is the chapter headers, as the images that load aren’t all that visible/readable in dark mode type settings. A simple fix is to just highlight what you have with a single layer of white pixels, but while that’s adequate, it wouldn’t look so good in the long run compared to the other nice images you’ve included.

Omg I loved the texting and it was written perfectly too! I find that texting in stories are hit or miss for me and if it’s done badly it can take me out of the story immediately but it was very well done here 
and poor Roga looool, at first I was like HUH and then I almost died of laughter

I am currently looking at the I assume it’s a link to the next update? And it seems broken? I think? When I put it in my address bar, it just takes me to the start of the first demo. I’m confused.
Granted, it’s also like two in the morning, and I’ve only had like six hours of sleep. So. Might just be me.
The new link consists of chapters 1 to 5, not the start of an update chapter. :))
What you got there in the beginning was your basic Academy training. It only means, that, as an orc f.ex., you are naturally a bit stronger than others, so you got a small stat boost there. It’s mostly for lore reasons and won’t have any consequences later, don’t worry.
But to answer your question, yes, you will have an option to choose what you want to specialise in later You could already boost your job stats when you entered the mall and in the surgery room, unrelated to your race. I was actually thinking to put a choice about what you want to train in at the beginning of chapter 5 but then I decided against it because I came up with a much better solution 
(Also, the stats are not finalised yet, so you really don’t have to worry about it right now.)

Haha no, it’s not you It is what @French_Fries said, the link to Demo2 includes Demo1, so it starts from the beginning of chapter 1. Demo2 uses the same saves as Demo1 though, so if you have a saved game from the first demo, just simply load it up there and it will take you where you left off.

You can use *text_image instead of *image, and it will invert the colors automatically!
