One of the publishing criteria for the CoG is the ability to chose gender. Hosted Games does not require that choice to be available.
Whatever your feelings on gender-locking, please be respectful of the author and their choice to write their game the way they desire.
If you provide feedback and it seems the author pushes back on it, respect their wishes.

Well, thatâs a pretty big number for ROs. Are all of them supposed to be characters with longterm influence on the story or are you counting flings too?
Will friendship paths be possible too or is the game romance focused?
Would a player deciding to not romance any character miss out much?
The prolouge still seems very draft-y and also is not enough for me to give an adequate opinion about your work. But I can give you the advice to check how your pages look on mobile in comparison to a computer screen: on mobile you notice much easier if a page is too long to be comfortable to read for people and the prolouge may be better broken up in two pages in my opinion.
Wait what? Those arenât gender or orientation locked. I played all three parts with the same female character and while during the first two parts the majority of ROs was female, the MCâs sexual orientation actually never got specified as far as I remember. Are you sure you are talking about the right game?
Youâre probably right. It has been a while since I even looked at those games, let alone actually played them. I recall the Foundation one having only female ROs but I wonât say Iâm not wrong on that front. My main point was specifically how as far as I have seen there seems to be only a real push back on people that want to make games that are female gender locked as opposed to the ones that are male locked.

@Rogar: Well considering that all of the actual romances are female and the main character by necessity of the story is male, it is preference locked. Iâm not speaking on sexual preferences in regards to physical looks or character personality, if that was the case I am quite safe in the assumption that LGBT people would be even poorer in that regard than they are now lmao.
Itâs cool if itâs true that you can be gay and itâs not just a case of the MC not choosing the female ROs presented to you. Cool. But that doesnât change the fact that the only romances are female and that the CLOSEST, literally the closest thing to it being open to LGBT would be flirting with someone who ultimately shoots you down.
