How many gigabytes in RAM your phone has
My phone has 3gb and it struggles when opening a startuptxt.json
You need to use the correct tool is all. If you’re trying to mod on your mobile, download notepad++. It’s free and works well.
Does anyone know how to keep values constant/frozen/unchangeable over the course of the game? I know it can be done, I just have no idea how.
I guess you’d have to manually remove all stat changes beyond a certain point? You can do this if you know how to edit apks. DM me if you don’t.
You lost me at #5 for Firefox (I couldn’t get Chrome to work at all). Normally I use steam because it’s insanely simple, but I’m trying to play Lords of Aswick with maxed stats, and it’s not on steam, so… I can open and edit the PSstate file but it wont save. As soon as I click next everything is back to normal. When I go to the console tab I’m greeted with status info (such and such loaded properly or improperly), so I’m officially lost.
Thanks for your post, I did it.
Today a friend of mine had a lot of trouble trying to upload their screenshots of Choice of Robots on Steam. As I already posted here on the Choice of Robots Discussion Hub, I hadn’t realized just how difficult the process was to non-modders.
So if you’re like my friend, and you want to upload your screenshots on any COG’s Screenshots Hub on Steam, then this Guide right here is what you’re looking for.
I wish you all the very best in sharing your Choice of Games journeys in the Steam Screenshots Hub.
I’m trying to get maxed stats on zombie exodus safe Haven, but when I change all stats and play, I get this message
startup line 1: Non-existent variable ‘new_char_bonus’
Make sure the variable new_char_bonus exists and that you’ve spelled it exactly the same way in all of your edits.
Could it have been that I changed its value from 25 for example, to 50. Because I only messed with the numbers in the stats on the startup file
Is there any way to view the code or edit it for Android omnibus app?
No, changing the value of a variable wouldn’t cause that error. Accidentally changing the spelling of the variable name would.
I’m not a fan of omnibus apps and have yet to download it. Maybe someone else can offer some advice.
I can sympathize with that. But, I’m afraid this is the future route of our favourite company.
I’m giving it a try nowadays, but dumb as I am… I can’t make any sense of things.
Do I just add new_char_bonus At the very beginning of the file, since it’s missing from line 1? Or do I have to use *create command
That seems like the kind of error you get when your stats are too high. Maybe ensure that’s not the case before making any other changes.
Shouldn’t there be an option to manipulate stats? I think cheats is a better word. Basically, just put in cheats that will lock the achievements when they’re in effect so I can experiment with the story and what not.
Hence the point of this thread.
