I would like the link
Ok, Iāve reached out. Let me know if I missed you out.
Thanks a lot! Iāll need to run this through spellcheck and do some proofreading, but if you find anything, that would be really helpful!
Iād like the link please
Why does the Upcoming game look like a prequel than a sequel?
In a sense, it kind of looks like both. I mean, itās definitely a sequel in the sense that you are now playing with a whole new Mc, years after the events of the previous MC. At the same time, there are some flashbacks that predates even the first MC, hence my statement about the game looking like both. Note that in this game, the previous MC is referred to as Vance Steelthorne.
As a follow-up to my last post, I would actually like to suggest something. Would it be possible to somehow make the game remember the events of our previous MC? Perhaps at the start of the game, you could give us a little questionnaire on what our previous MC did and who they were? I mean, as a sequel, it would make the reader feel like their previous MC was more relevant.
Can i have the link please ?

Itās a sequel, but without the save game import function, it assumes a canon MC.
To be upfront, the reason why I chose a canon MC was to keep things simple. There were four main endings to the first game, but writing the sequel to accommodate each ending would have taken a bit of work. Afterwards, I decided on a fixed set of events. It might not have been the best approach, but that is what I decided on for now.
I mean, I would love to have a full save game import function if it wouldnāt be too much work to account for each ending in the earlier game, but I decided that I needed to balance my workload as well.
I really enjoyed the first game. Any chance I can get a link?
What are the canon events and ending if you donāt mind me asking?
Sure thing!
Basically what happens if you got the āsecret endingā achievement in the first game.
The sequel will also make references to the events of the earlier game.
Form a truce with the wildmen and pick all the āniceā options, complete the kidnapping quest when it opens up, sometime after your visit to Jhou lands, and later choose to flee Lake Steelthorne rather than infusing yourself with the power of the Dragon Gem.
I mean, I totally understand why it was done this way, but maybe in the future, should the game make it to HG, it may be something to consider later on. It wouldāve been nice to see how history wouldāve judged other types of characters for example, and would add even more replayability. For now though, I understand.
That dragon gem power up was sick and was honestly hoping to see what happened after MC became a god lol. Canāt wait to see whatās going in this one.
