@HarrisPS I see it now, thank you for the quick assistance!!
Yes. Poison or corrosive breath can be interesting but… uh… I can’t imagine the consequences of the MC’s first, powerful release on top of the Evermist Mountains if it is an all-consuming poisonous/corrosive gas. The village where Gavin/Eve lives is near the foot of the mountains.
That’s a great point to make. Lighting, fire, and ice, untamed as they may be, wouldn’t spread throughout the air like a poisonous/corrosive gas would.
The other powers are like a nuke in a sense, the explosive force their capable of producing is devastating for sure, but the gas would be like the radiation that takes effect after the nuke lands, which is arguably the more deadly aspect.
No one in the surrounding area would be able to survive that, unless their all cockroaches that is. (Not to say that they would survive a nuke either, lol)
I cant wait to come to the Dragon Hunter HQ and just release the poisonous miasma, that would make Fafnir himself proud, there.
Heres a thought…so? Have the poison kill everyone there.
Nah, you’re actually diabolical😂 The dragon hunters might have the right idea with genocide if all dragon kin think like you, lmao.
Not all, just me. If I breath poison, bodies drop. Itd be a short but really evil playthrough.
You shouldn’t be allowed to walk the streets😂
But while poison is strong and dangerous, you should take the elements into consideration.
Just breathing the poison and it traveling then…boom all dead, wouldn’t really work that way.
Poison how you described it would be misty and vaporous, which could be eliminated via, strong winds, rain, also i don’t think it would actually be able to travel that far.
Also consider that if we ignore those things, what would happen if we release it somewhere and accidentaly killing someone we didn’t want to and what other creatures are resistant, like do other dragons have an immunity, even if they are no poison dragons themself or do they just die when breathing it(also how is it going to react and come into the immune system, via lungs or even with touch…etc.).
Anyways, guess i am just thinking to hard about it
You raise some vaild points, the environment definitely plays a big role in how the poison spreads and its effectiveness. Wind and rain could dilute or disperse it quickly.
But I think given the scale of the MC’s power as an ancient dragon, and the descriptions of the others elements, the poison would be very potent and not so easily dispelled. Even with the wind or the rain, a concentrated, all-consuming gas could devastate the immediate area before dispersing.
Plus, if it’s corrosive, it could damage the landscape and structures, making the area uninhabitable, regardless of its range. And it’s also not just about the immediate area—it’s the aftermath that could have lasting consequences as well.
As for the collaberal damage, I was thinking that maybe we can control the breathe attacks as more concentrated burst, like gas being blow out from a pipe.
But It’s definitely worth considering the immunity of other creatures too, so I don’t think that you’re not overthinking it at all.
But the immunity could vary depending of species, and I would assume that other dragons might be able to handle the intake of poison better than most. Like if the MC had an ice core, I still think they would be able to take a hit from a dragon with a fire core and not be immediately eviscerated like others would.
As for how the posion will come into contact with the immune system, well that’s up to the authors discretion. Some poisons take effect on skin contact, others need to be ingested or injected.
I think we’re all overanalyzing the simple fact that the MC is strong af and can do whatever it wants but thinks too much like a human.
In my opinion all 3 power is as deadly, from the description at the awakening it’s like extremely powerful spell, like fire so intense it’s like second sun just rose at the mountain, cold so intense it’s freeze surrounding region turning storm into hail shaped the peak into frozen landscape, thunderstorm so great it turned turbulent weather into raging thunderous maelstrom.
This is pretty high level spell of you ask me, temperature bypassing armor it’s direct attack on living being, it’s either they survive or they froze from the description it’s like absolute zero/cryogenic spell, same as fire second sun is not a joke it’s fire so intense it can turn sand to glass, melt and burn everything it touched, lightning is bane of metal as most metal can transfer electricity, this could also means MC can turn this into railgun or something if harnessed correctly, lighting is basically instant ability there will be no evasion from this power, it’s also have utility like combine it with water or rain and it will be very deadly.
That can be easily solved with breathing a powerful jet of poison gas or shooting balls of explosive poison gas at the target(s). But yeah, there’s still the risks of poisoning people you don’t want to hurt.
Update out today! I’ll be around to do quick fixes on any errors you guys find today
so what’s new? is the link updated already? can’t wait!
Ive noticed some issues there not outright visible coding issues but are behind the scenes ones.
There is some gender issues sprinkled through out will try to go through and get screen shots later on but those arent the biggest ones. I have noticed two or three the first one is when the two dragon slayer masters are talking with one another it states my MC is prideful but my MC is acctually humble… now considering the elder dragon slayers it might just be their bias but mentioning it just incase.
Second one occurs in the village when it comes to which option we choose in regards to going south the first one reads the same as if you choose to go eagerly or hesitantly. Not sure if something in the code isnt tracking or catching if its not a coding issue i would perhaps look to making a variation to things so can reflect a MC who at first doesnt want to go south thinking it to risky. So that it can flow smoother in the story.
Third thing edna the dragon slayer trainey girl when its in her POV it speaks of the stranger who is in refrence to the MC im assuming…it still states that even if we dont go to the courtyard and meet them. So a slight disconnect? Exspecially when such a thing doesnt occur for the other two options if you dont encounter them.
Just some things i noticed but like i said will try to get screen shots later for the gender issues.
how did you get access to the new content? seems like it’s still only chapter 3 for now.
Not sure if its new content lol these are scenes im pretty sure was allready avaible.
oh ok got you, I was just confused and too excited, it makes sense if this is for the current content.
The temp POV area is riddled with errors. Man when woman, he when she, son when a daughter and etc.
Smithy when potion shop was another error. Keen said twice, and its not keen eye for potions but keen smell instead? Or just keen senses clears all up.
Finley refers to Tanya as a boy. Tonya referred to as a boy at campsite on way to event.
Going to bed at inn has this line:
Error: c5inn_own1goal, variable text error
