Edit: AI would use words commonly found by the way. Those names are common. Also.
If you havent, try AI dungeon and get back with me on your experience with it. (Maybe they improved it?! But last time I used it, it was a joke.)
Okay I think @Aaron_King addressed this very well (Big Thank you). But I want to also address this to prevent the book from being taken down.
I used AI as a tool to provide a list of character names/weapon names. The Cover Art is AI generated.
The story, creativity, the framework, that’s me. I don’t use AI to write for me.
Read into the thread, those that follow the book have pointed out several errors, typos, etc human error

As far as the “meaningless fluff”, there’s going to be quite a bit of that seeing as most of my supporters enjoy it, and I enjoy writing it. It will be used to progressively show how the world changes due to the MC’s actions/inactions.
My supporters have posted ideas that have already been incorporated into the book.
I write as much as my time allows me (medically retired - daily), explaining the update schedule.
The book has a heavy inspiration from several fantasy sources. Ex. Aldrin I got from Alduin (Skyrim). Master Dragon Hunter/Big Bad Dragon
G_E (Gavin Eve) just like most people pointed out is different than how most people write their book, and that’s intentional, and someone’s already figured out why without me having to write it. A lot of the rewrites and scenes are directly from feedback here in the post. ex. The G_E rock skipping scene (ALL ME BTW), was added because the readers felt like that relationship lacked substance.
Instead of continuing to explain myself I’ll just say someone has already had their book taken down for being completely AI generated, so it is a heavy accusation, I think there’s enough evidence in the thread to prove that’s not what’s happening here but I felt I needed say something.

As with anything in this world, there’ll always be haters. But don’t let that discourage you. Me and all your fans here will always be rooting for you.
The small character moments are always the most important indeed, because it shows the closeness between the characters.
I do tend to prefer character interconnectivity. NPC hating another but holding back to work with others and etc.
Plenty of examples of character interconnections galore. It would feel hollow if they ignored each other an a less viable story.
So ‘fluff’ as it were, is definitely important. I indulge in it generally.

I love small moments of fluff and character interactions. Adds context to the world, the ppl in the MCs life, etc. Also helps to establish relationships and personalities.
