I believe that that one f ranked hunter is G and their whole reasoning for becoming a hunter or whatever is to find us or alteast be strong enough to protect us. You know that whole character arc.

Then i thought about something else. Dragons have human forms so what makes them think they have brought us close to extinction? Like that coin had the scent of a dragon on it. Its either a trap or their are other dragons unaccounted for that hide well among humans. Or it could be from that other dragon they are fighting.
Edit: Lowkey im in favor of being " one of the last dragons alive" but would also not mind if there was a hidden “coven” of dragons hiding somewhere.

However many people there was being kind in those videos, their are just as much people who are displaying acts of selfishness off camera.
