It is a bit difficult. I was training my dog at first, but soon reached a point where at least one stat (sometimes all of them) were in the bolded region, and I was constantly trying to get all of them back to safe levels, which made the whole thing feel grindy. It might be good to have an easy mode on classic with reduced stat deterioration.
What’s the difference between wet food and dry food in the game? For folks who are not familiar with dogs, might help to have a quick explanation of some choices.
Is it possible to pick toy breeds? 
Anyway, definitely an interesting concept, to care for a pet dog.
