Currently it’s about (X%, X Chapters, X Words) done, and I plan on updating every X weeks.

Everyone: the demo that remains of Diaspora on Dashingdon will be going down with the site at the end of the month. We may put it up elsewhere, but we’re just as likely to keep it down while we work on edits and the extras we need for submission.

For whatever it’s worth, I’ve read through the demo a few times and enjoy coming back to it every once in a while. If it’s not too much trouble, I’d like it to stay available after the end of the month. No pressure

So what happened with the game at the end? It was close to being submitted to Hosted Games? But nowadays that must be done? That was the last info we got at the start of 2025 right?

I mean one of the authors is still active with the asphodel game so it’s not like they just disappeared completly, I guess there might be hope?

Things are moving in the background. Ironically, we are currently waiting for someone else to finish something before we can continue, but I am hopeful there will be more substantive news reasonably soon.

One can only hope the right pieces connect then! Do appreciate you speaking up and bringing us a little update to the thread, when a novel meets the editors it can be struggle by itself but one Diaspora can more than overcome!

I do apologize for the silence; we’d been rather hoping to be able to make the ‘more substantive’ announcement sooner, and so figured not saying anything before then would be fine, but I do think we’ve rightly hit the point where even this little bit is worth putting out there.
You’ve all been very patient and waited such a long time; we hope you’ll stick with us just a little longer.
