@DSeg Try to be more evil in making Evans suffer and you shall know the reason >:) wow that was bad of me but needed for the plot.
The “Unseen University” came to mind when i was trying to figure a name, i didn’t want something generic like Yale, Harvard, etc. it felt wrong so i settled for “Unseen” as it goes well for the game being creepy. Thanks for the vote of confidence in this.
I incorporated the humor to mellow the creepy part as i will start killing people and it feels way to dark that i don’t want minor players to be freaked out. Some of how i describe the killing was really disturbing so i am editing them.
I am intrigue to know your game as i like creepy games. I shall search it.
@Aera If everything goes well, my game will be ready for a demo by the second half of December. I find it so dark in some situations that I am thinking about postponing it untill next year so I don’t ruin people’s enjoyment of holidays. But that’s just me and my mind. We will see what the people say about the darkness of my game.
I hate to be a party pooper, @Aera, but I do not recommend you use the name “Unseen University,” considering it is also the name of a major location in the popular Discworld series written by Terry Pratchett.
Of course, perhaps I was the only person to make this connection. You decide whether it matters or not.
@Saint_Nicholas Nope you’re not “a party pooper" thanks for the input. I never knew that it really exist in another author’s book, kinda creepy in a way since i’m not familiar with the author but thank you for mentioning it.
@WiReDcHiMpAnZeE thanks for the praise the story last for 15 chapeter, er wow long? but anyway its slow because im still learning to code sorry
@ I listen to Solomon Kane (movie instrumental) music when i write the scene of people dying. Im re-writing those because it all comes way to creepy and disturbing,. glad you liked the game so far.
@Kaosorer_6 sorry about the grammatical errors, im using a phone to code and its really hard to read, if you spot them do inform me Thanks I’ll re-read the whole thing and change it in the next update.
Question to everyone, do you guys want it to have a romance? this honestly never crossed my mind but is it like needed?
This is an amazing game, I can’t wait to see it progress further! In my opinion I like how it is written. And yes to romance. That option could end up being really interesting and engaging in this type of story. Though I do think it would have been cool if we had been able to give our Charon a personal characteristic of our own as well since they (or a majority of them) have physical traits mimicking their masters. But that’s just a thought and would probably go hand in hand with character development. Anyways, can’t wait to play the finished product!
@PandorasBox Thanks for enjoying the game. Charons when they are born, they tend to be cuddly and lovable to their masters as they see the masters as their parents. They only adopt a personal characteristic once they have high devotion to their masters so they tend to mimic their parents. Also fun fact the mask that charons wear is just to protect them because some grim reapers and reapers hate the notion of having a toy looking like them.
@ChimeraLord Nope it never crossed my mind to add romance :-" but everyone is like emailing me to add them so i shall add some. I just pray it goes well since i feel giggly when i write romance. :">
Thank you guys for your support of the game >:D< happy days.
@ChimeraLord I’m on limbo stage as who you can romance since I have all the reapers and grim reapers reasons for dying, I cried for 7 of them as it was so horrible :-(( i feel bad for them. You’re giving me an idea to just be able to romance the stand by department cast but I think I should add more of them as the original outline of reapers are 37 characters and the grim reapers are 7 characters. I shall bring back some of them thou. :-/
@Aera Who says a RO can’t die? It makes it tragic and that’s good! Also, the grammatical errors are simple like plurals and tenses. Also a bit of missing commas here and there as well as uncapitalized I’s, Nothing making it unreadable.
