It has been a while since I have been able to update the game. The majority of my time still spent on Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven and Stronghold. I do have about 10,000 more words ready for Deadbury Academy, so I’m hoping to update by the end of this month. Sorry for the delay, everyone!

There’s no need to hurry, in order to create an artistic masterpiece it cannot be rushed so take all the time you need.
Also sorry for my curiosity, but will there be poly relationships and if so would Lilith and Savannah/baby daddy be one of options?

Love the art a lot, and the premise in general is interesting. I hope the cast doesn’t get too big or too many locations-- but with a boarding school hopefully not too big a concern.
I see you’re using ZE:SH stats. I love that game so it’s not a bad thing, but since the game is early stages I’d note often Hand to Hand and close combat is quite outmatched by ranged weapons-- whilst all options don’t need to be equal, in a school setting more limited ammo and weapons could achieve the effect realistically-- so hopefully positive there, doubly so with close combat and hth merged (Which is good.)
Luck stat isn’t bad per se, I’m just generally wary of adding more stats as it becomes another thing to track, to provide options for, etc. and luck is more loosely defined too.
I like the ability to pick a club/activity to determine stats, feels natural and I hope it ties in story-wise too, knowing or having better relationships with people in the same clubs. Right now there’s no variation based upon our own character (skills, clubs, etc.) and for an older teen that’s usually a defining thing (and probably doubly so at a boarding school?)
Having someone in my bed & trying to touch me should have a stronger reaction, and I’d also make the age range 16-18 because tbh it doesn’t feel immersive playing a 15 year old, with roommates having hookup, weird drunken approaches and being offered alcohol… alongside powerlifters barging into rooms assaulting people, and girls running a protection racket pushing people down stairs (and vaguely threatening people to not tell)-- but that’s subjective ig. At present feels more like a uni setting tbh in the way people act and speak
More broadly everyone speaks a bit too maturely imo. Things like having a roommate hiding a pet is good, and in general things closer to that, complaining about school/random relationship/family drama, hyperfixating on some random upcoming competition/ROTC board/sports tryout or competition/exam/cheer… thing(?) would ground it better and distinguish it from a story where it’s just people in the same building to older teens in a school-- not a critique, just something to maybe add in future parts.
Not saying make everything super dramatic, but teens in general are going to be a bit more dramatic than adults, and if we’re already starting with death, hidden pregnancies, protection rackets and dangerous investigations it’ll be hard to react overly dramatic to this stuff. Adding more normal school interactions could help-- this is just an early WiP after all
Not necessarily a suggestion everyone will agree with, but to make the younger sibling character better long term I wouldn’t make them optional. I see in ZE:SH how it’s done well… but requires tons of check and additions-- not sayin what you should do, but just having the younger sibling specifically be mandatory could be better imo

When creating a custom character you can pick multiple options that boost the same stat. Nbd but not capped at 100 / 70 either.
Can’t see code but there’s also some issue with the “Next, you looked at a photo where you were…” text, appearing on the final choice (stacking with “Next, you looked at one final photo where you were…”) and after the final choice, where all photos have been picked and it’s displaying stats.
Trying to re-pick a hobby or challenge ends ability to pick any.

We were supposed to get one end of the month but the author writes other stuff too so we still have to have patience.
I still find the concept of “Teen pregnancy as a challenge” very funny. No matter how many times i replay.
