I don’t think you’re 100% correct because the mc went into seclusion training and when he’s interrupted he gets the option to use a branding like technique on the servant which he says he got from his grandfather.

It’s a sword style. As a sword style passed down from the heavenly emperor, this is too powerful to use in the current story.
MC did inherited the martial arts.
In xianxia universe if you are powerful then you can just load the memory of martial arts into someone.

This was a rough read. As has been made clear, you need an editor. Less exposition, more characterization and description. “Lightning greater than tribulation” means nothing to me. Show don’t tell is a rule for a reason.
It feels like 90% of your writing is “as you know”, awkward exposition. Hard to get excited when you don’t know or care about anyone involved. Also, the choices are cartoonishly evil. Hoping you take the feedback into account before your next installment.

I know, so far in the current version (patreon) many grammars and spelling mistakes have been fixed.
These lines are for those who are already familiar with the xianxia novels, and for those who aren’t I did explained the strength of the lightning, how it destroy the mountain.
As I’ve mentioned before this is just an introduction to characters, each of them will get their own arcs stronging the bond between you and them.
Yes some of them are like this on the purpose, after all the mc is still a child.
