I actually really enjoy this so far. It reminds me of many xianxia I’ve read ..down to even the pacing and rough translation. Lol
I like how Dragon Mom makes us promise to lay low, and the moment MC walks into the school they challenge an elder. 
Guess I can’t play the stupid kid no one suspects is op. Lol

Just remember folks, a lot of the “hetero-only” stuff is because China, and many other countries, actively censor homosexuality in media. There’s a reason Heaven’s Official Blessing’s animation doesn’t actually have much BL despite the source being absolutely 110% BL.
I’m sure it doesn’t need to be said, but just keep in mind it often isn’t a personal decision, but a professional and legal decision.
All that said, I need more of this. I’m a sucker for everything that this story is.
