I didn’t realize you were also the author of blood money! I Enjoyed that book too, but let me just say It’s impressive to see how your writing evolved, it’s becoming something special! It took me a couple tries to get through Blood Money but this one was fantastic and had me enchanted from start to end, I cannot wait to see what you come out with next!

How can I gain virtue
If you do things that make you seem nice, honest, or generally having good morals, you should increase Virtue. (Note: you don’t have to be nice but people need to think you’re nice to have high Virtue.) There are some more details in the “guide to stats” option on the game stat page.

It’s super spoilery so I won’t go into details but keep playing, you can’t miss them.
I know it seems a random comment, but this book seems to have a very Harvest Moon feel to it. Living a life in a rustic and unique setting and getting to know the people in your community through created festivals and events. So very much of it made me feel good about the choices I made, even when they didn’t all work out as planned.
I’m so glad that even the unexpected bits or fails felt good! I very much wanted to make it fun no matter what you get up to
