Crème de la Crème – Climb to the very top of the class!

We’re proud to announce that Crème de la Crème, the latest in our popular Choice of Games line of multiple-choice interactive-fiction games, is now available for Steam, Android, and on iOS in the Choice of Games Omnibus app. It’s 30% off until Dec 5!

Climb to the very top of the class at your exclusive private school for socialites! Will you study hard, find a perfect match, or embrace scandal?

Crème de la Crème is a 440,000-word interactive novel by Hannah Powell-Smith, where your choices control the story. It’s entirely text-based, without graphics or sound effects, and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.

Gallatin College is a “finishing school” where young people must learn social graces, surrounded by their high-class peers. When your parents fall into disgrace, the rest of high society rejects them. It’s up to you to enroll at Gallatin, to secure your future and restore the family’s good name.

At Gallatin, you’ll dance with royalty, impress decorated officers, and perfect your etiquette. What will you prioritize: a spotless reputation, a prestigious social network, or a pristine report card–and who will you backstab to achieve it? Your year in this sparkling, brittle world is about to begin. But are you a rake soaked in scandal, or a perfectly proper socialite? Sneaking out of class or polishing your ballroom dancing, either way: the road to high society starts here!

• Play as male, female, or non-binary; gay, straight, or bisexual; monogamous or polyamorous; asexual and/or aromantic.
• Make a match with an aristocrat or royalty, develop a romantic connection with a fellow student, or fall for someone below your social standing.
• Enjoy a no-strings-attached fling, or propose a marriage of convenience with a friend.
• Join a clique - officially sanctioned by the college or decidedly not - and build its strength and standing.
• Distinguish yourself by achieving a place at university or on a competitive internship.
• Sabotage your classmates, or build friendships.
• Repair your family’s reputation, or grind it into the dust.
• Uncover Gallatin College’s dark secrets and reveal them to the world - or keep them under wraps.

Will you be the crème de la crème?

We hope you enjoy playing Crème de la Crème. We encourage you to tell your friends about it, and recommend the game on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and other sites. Don’t forget: our initial download rate determines our ranking on the App Store. The more times you download in the first week, the better our games will rank.

I’ve been so busy with classes I can only think of reading about going to classes to unwind :joy: but really I’ll get this soon for sure!

Congrats on the release, @HarrisPS.
The demo seems promising so it seems I found what I’m gonna play once my hype for The War of the West dials down a bit.

I did not realize that would happen when I named my MC Starling! Having an MC named after one of the school clubs, while flirting with Max, is an unintentional brand of humor. Completely accidental.

Loved the demo, wanted to give it a buy, but it’s not applying the 30% off on the iOS omnibus? Any idea what’s going on? In game it says 4.99, and when I go to buy its 5.99

Hey I want to how much I enjoyed this game. I had great time romancing a certain goth chic. In fact, I was a little surprised that the high spirit MC got along with her really well. Anyway, I guess it shows that we all need is really love and acceptance.

Anyway good show with this.

This is the first I’ve ever seen this for a CoG. I’m in the United Arab Emirates, btw. I’ve set my VPN to different countries now but the same message still shows up.

May I ask for the ROs?:pray:t2:
I wouldn’t like to pursue a NPC and waste my time.

Not sure it’s been mentioned on the forum, but this is the first published game that I edited! (Aside from I guess HMS Foraker, which I’m technically listed as the editor on because I basically read over it to make sure it functioned.) So I’m excited about that! It’s been a ton of fun to work on, and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I have.

Congrats @HarrisPS on the game release! I was happy to be a beta tester, and can’t wait to actually own the game.

I’ve always been a fan of school settings, and this one takes the cake as my favorite of the genre. The romances are amazing, the ending, no matter which one you get, is satisfying, and the characters are so diverse and lovable, even Blaise.

Oh wow, I didn’t realise that at all! You both have done excellent work with Crème

They seem to be: Freddie, Delacroix, Max, Hartmann, Blaise, Karson, Florin, Auguste, Rosario, and Florin. So essentially every student you really interact with, besides for Gonzalez who is asexual but is willing to get married, provided the relationship remain platonic.

@HarrisPS, I think this is right? On a side note, while Florin is a RO, you can’t get married to them in the game, right? I don’t think it was ever mentioned, but are they simply against getting married at the end of the game, or do they not want to get married even post-game in the future?

I would like to add that Florin is a “no-strings-attached” character, and will not get married. They just want fun
