This is my first time trying to create a game, and I am eager to learn all that I can so that I can make a game that is fun and entertaining for the players. However, I am experiencing some problems. I was able to download the file that was provided by Choice of Games, but when I open the startup file, it looks different from the tutorials that I am watching on YouTube. I am using an HP laptop, but the person that I was watching on YouTube was using a Mac. Does anyone have any tips on how to create a game with an HP laptop? Or should I invest in a Mac?

I wrote three ChoiceScript games with a PC laptop, so it’s definitely doable. Are you using ChoiceScript IDE? That’s the program I recommend using.
I had an HP laptop as well.

Thanks for the reply! Where would I be able to find ChoiceScript IDE? The only program I found was from the Introduction to ChoiceScript page.
