OMG yeah Anara is kind of like Ami, I never thought of that before! Both smart, cute and water powers
You forgot the glasses. Women with glasses are cuter.
Oh I agree there, both my girlfriend and I wear glasses
boys as well (i’ll admit… i have a thing for glasses a.k.a megane people XD)
I think I’ve read somewhere that Naoko Takeuchi (author) was surprised that men read the manga.[quote=“Urban, post:365, topic:21666, full:true”]

And when people take off their glasses, they look like a different person.
Just to note: one of the male ROs (not Alex) wears glasses.
and sometimes it such a shame i just remember a long time ago i had a crush with my senior (she looks so cute with her glasses) and then she decide to wear a contact lenses so she never used her glasses anymore… and i found that she became less cute than before…
now you trying to spoiled me i love your works @ParrotWatcher
Won’t any “tax pounds” (you meant to say tax pounds there didn’t you?) require the same “proof of identity” as our non-existent healthcare? Meaning that even if the school has a clothing allowance for indigent students it would require the same “proof of identity” as the healthcare, the mc doesn’t get either for basically all the same reasons.
In any case it is probably really tiny so getting anything nice with it would largely depend on having extraordinarily good luck at the local thrift shops one would imagine.
Yeah, but then we can really set about obtaining our own while not bound by a stiffing, oppressive system of bureaucratic “rules” and regulations. Like I said my mc leans pretty heavily towards the disorder side here.
Then it wouldn’t really be an allowance, now would it? Then it is more compensation for a job.
She seems my kind of teacher. Now I want my character to enroll on her school.
Is there any chance we can other people with cute (and embarrassing) nicknames?[quote=“Curious_Boy, post:370, topic:21666”]

Your story reminds me of my friend; she looks high to me when she doesn’t wear her glasses. Shudder contact lenses.[quote=“idonotlikeusernames, post:371, topic:21666”]

I’m just kind of skeptical of getting money from a school considering the type of superheroing world this game takes place in. And I kind of thought that the MC would need to earn the money by keeping up their grades or something along that line.
Well we may not be getting it from the school so much as from the government, distributed through the school, via some aid programmes for indigent students. Or at least I hope that’s what it is. Of course we may not get anything at all due to our lack of documentation or “proof of identity”.
If it is merely charity coupled onto our blind obedience of all sorts of nonsensical, bureaucratic rules and inane “traditions”, then I agree and that will likely mean no allowance for my mc.
One thing that still bugs me if we are almost 18 years old and lack documentation, why do they even bother with enrolling us in school, couldn’t we simply make an “educated guess” that we’re over 18 already and therefore adults who do not need to be enrolled in school, super-powered or otherwise?
Assuming the age of majority is still 18 here, of course and not something like 21.
I’ve never heard the term used with pounds. Anyway, on thinking it through, it probably wouldn’t come from the government, but rather from the team’s comic book licencing… the characters have to dress well, after all. Of course, that’s probably limited to a single outfit per storyline.
One step ahead of you, there.
Possibly. It would be a little hard to fit in, but I could try.
“Earning” yes (to an extent), grades no.
It’s more a combination school/university, with no definite maximum age. Of course, you’re not being put into school because you’re underage, but rather as a kind of penalty for a life of crime, with the alternative being prison.
Will there be a grading system? Of yes, is it similar with the grading system in Boku no Hero Academia (this game reminds me of it.) [quote=“ParrotWatcher, post:375, topic:21666”]

Would the MC be taught with people varying of ages and how much would the MC’s previous life hinder them?[quote=“ParrotWatcher, post:375, topic:21666”]

That would be awesome if you could. I’m gonna give everyone an embarrassing nickname.
Really @ParrotWatcher how many RO will be at this game?last time you say there was four RO looks like it’s increase…and what they preference(this one is bugging me )
Possibly my favourite anime in the last year… does it show? But no, no grading system (or at least it won’t be a major plot point).
Classes would be sorted by ability (which means intellect for most of them); as for the other question, use your imagination.
I’m aiming at nine, but that may be too much (why do I do these things to myself?):
ROs
Layla/Bloodblade (Female; Female/NB only)
Alex (Male; Male only)
Han/Imugi (Male; All)
Rebecca/Song of Joy (Female; All)
Ethan/Shard (Male; Female/NB only)
Rashmi/Leyline (Female; Male only)
Jeff/Mousetrap (Male; All)
Ruth/Ruthless Ruth (Female; All)
I want the final one to be a genderfluid individual (open to all genders), but am still researching how to portray them in a realistic, non-offensive manner. If anyone has any advice, I’d be very happy to hear it.
As an aside, does anybody have a problem with the fact that I grouped nonbinary MCs with females to judge preferences? This was done solely so that nonbinary MCs would be able to romance equal numbers of male and female ROs, only one of whom was either Layla or Alex.
So that why I can’t use Jeff name😂
Before I would be forced to enroll there, now I want to be there.
Drat, but my mc isn’t a team player, or well at least not someone who blindly follows the appointed “leader” and obeys every insane order without hesitation.
My mc may mean well at his core and even help people on occasion, but he’s not blindly self-sacrificing and not very (outwardly) heroic at all.
Also without decent healthcare my mc certainly won’t be willing to risk idiotic stunts in the name of “heroism”.
Furthermore is that even an allowance or simply an outfit the publisher’s corporate team of pr-people and image consultants decide is “right for us” and if we don’t like it “tough luck”?
Probably because pounds are heavier and imply a higher tax-burden.
Eh? You mean some petty robberies where no one got hurt? That should be around 4 years tops with halfway competent council, particularly given our age and the fact that we were likely still a minor at the time.
The Bank Robbery well that was obviously duress, as borne out by the fact that the mc was a victim and a literal sacrifice there too.
The more I think about it the more I’m beginning to believe that prison would have been the lesser evil here and the better opportunity to built a network of valuable connections for the future to boot.
Which just makes you all the more appealing.
That’s a great idea! Thanks.
Unfortunately the plot requires otherwise. I’ll let you protest this loudly, but (for now) super-school is where you’ll have to be.
That’s what evil corporations would do, though it does mean my mc is likely to not want to wear whatever crap they foist on him, without even soliciting his input.
What is it, rule of acquisition no. 269 “Never let the peons decide on anything that management can decide for them(selves)”. That sounds about right, doesn’t it?
