Community College Hero: Releasing Soon

Also can we have a new link with the fixing of it please? I really love this game!

@Natsu_Dragneel,

Okay it’s finally fixed. I just played through the game on the link and it works now. I need to work on some spacing but I’ll do that after dinner. I’ll respond to other folks after I get my girls to sleep in a few hours.

@HornHeadFan
Slight Glitch. If you open up the stats screen and go to academics you get
line 156: Non-existent variable ‘dirty_secret’
and Most people’s secrets don’t appear.

Will we see more of mob and stunner? They seem interesting. Also can’t wait for more!

@StarWarsMaster
Yes, we get it :slight_smile:

I loved the update! :smiley: One thing I did notice that I found to be kind of annoying, there is something wrong with the stats. For example, I was having lunch with Mob and it said that my stats went up 20% with him. When I checked the stats screen, my stats with him only went up 6%. There were several instances like this throughout the game. There were some minor spelling and grammatical errors, but nothing major. Other than the thing with the stats, I found the game to be very fun and enjoyable.

@pinklauryn
It’s not 20%, but 20% of 100 - your percentage. HornHead is using fairmath, which rewards consistent choices and makes it harder to have extremely high or low stats. Notice that it says %+ 20, not +20

Been a while since I played through this. I like all the additional stuff (though I think you should get a stat boost for your biggest accomplishment). And ditto on seeing more of Mob. He actually asked my character out, which was kinda cool. ^_^;

I will say that so far, my biggest complaint is the classes - specifically, it seems impossible to pass Downfall’s exam with anything but a C (I’ve tried three times, and time always runs out no matter what I choose). That low score guarantees you won’t get the upgrade package unless you ‘get an A’ on Hedonist’s ‘exam’, which I REALLY don’t want to do. It feels like I’m being punished for trying to have actual morals… >.<

@OtherGrimm What do you mean, with the tactician you can get through the test easy, all the way up to an A. The A battle is actually the easiest part.

I think I got b the best on the test since one of the answers is wrong no matter what you choose.

@jcury try tying stoic up with the jumprope, though personally I prefer the raspberry option, it’s way more humourous.

@OtherGrimm
I’ve got an A in Downfall’s class multiple times.

@Samuel_H_Young with which archetypes? Just curious cuz I’ve only tried tactician.

@jcury
Which one?
I always end up with an A.

I was a detective for my playthrough and I just kicked Clowngirl in the jaw, lured Wombat into a trap and I’m pretty sure that anything you do will let you win against Stoic.

@Malebranche @Samuel_H_Young How are you managing that? I’ve tried with a Bullet, Sniper, and Stinger (I think - the Whoosh/Zap one), and I always ‘time out’ of the second fight, no matter what options I choose or what my stats are. After I make my first choice (which always fails), the fight is over, period.

LINKREMOVED I usually play as a tactician like batman and green arrow. And I generally get all A’s buy doing everything I can to please the teachers

O I am sorry, got them mixed up, i ment McCormrick’s class I never got higher then a B.

Okay my quick lunch-time response to a few things…I will be brief…

@Jcury, the question on the HELL test about the number of reportable claims is worded in a very tricky manner (intentionally) but all the information necessary is provided if you study hard.

@OtherGrimm, Snipers, Detectives and Tacticians can beat Combat Wombat in round 2 of Downfall’s class, thus earning you at least a B, depending on whether you next beat Stoic.

General question. Does anyone know how much allowing the MC to have drug fueled sex with DG woukd affect the game’s ultimate rating? I know Mobster alludes to drug use and I think Deathless let’s you get drunk and party (with few details) but I wasn’t sure where the line would be.

@jcury As far as I know, the right answers are always available. At this point when I test, I don’t study for it, I just blow it off and then pick the answers I know are correct from previously… :smiley: It’s sort of a nice little second-playthrough bonus, haha. Or do you mean the second part of her class, rather than the first test?
