About the condition increases - if you don’t want to write out the code for checking if condition>100 each time, you can create a subroutine with that code, and call it each time, so you only write 1 line instead of 2.
@Cloudy Ahh you’re right! That would help!
@phimseto ahaha same, I was absolutely terrible at keeping in touch
Anyone know how to get bodyshot achievement?
Truth or dare at the party, you’ll have the option to do a body shot off of the French student.
@stsword Yup! Make sure the bottle lands on G and choose dare
Is there any poly romance in future?
Hi! Haha nope, no plans for that at the moment
That makes sense, the story is about a kid trying to manage different aspects of their very busy life at the same time, not a sex ninja lol.
In 2-1_firstweekclasses, there’s a part where your class performance is adjusted depending on how much readings you did, but after that the surprise tests results are handed out, and what you get on that sets your class performance to a certain number, which makes the previous part meaningless apart from providing some extra story.
Hey hey Thanks for the comment! You’re absolutely right. The readings are the first measure of your class performance. But they also affect your test results (along with your intelligence). After the test results are out, I wanted that to become the “main” measure of class performance (I’m assuming the profs don’t actually know/care how much readings you did unless you participate).
Hence, I’ll continue to use the test results as the main class performance metric, but add in a %+ based on whether or not you spoke up in class and sounded smart.
Of course, the class performance grade will continue to be affected by how prepared you are for each class + future tests/class work in the future. The surprise test is just the first benchmark. Hope that explains the thought process
Forget Rayyan, my real rival is Addie. I swear to all the IF gods that I will get a grade higher than hers!
HAHAHA! If you do beat Addie, you’ll have made a fearsome rival. All 5 feet of her will be coming for you.
Addie’s actually awesome and I want a study group!
So you’re telling me that I need to lure this hopeless fool into the deadly web of my friendship? How genius and diabolical. I love it.
Addie is one of my favorite non-RO characters, she’s amazing.
@Alexus, @Cloudy HAHHA!! Actually, I do have plans to write more “bonus Addie content” via the quidditch club, so hardcore Addie-lovers have some extra scenes/chances to lure the “hopeless fool” into “deadly webs” etc. etc.
Replayed the demo and got to the part “Isabella is the tennis team” i don’t know why my brain reacted with “isabella your boyfriend here” from Encanto i died laughing
I’m just coming back to the thread and seeing Aiden as people’s rival. I’m like lol I need to restart the demo
Is it bad that my MC’s entire outlook toward romance and their favorite romantic interest is
“I like Rayyan. Rayyan’s the coolest. But I don’t really need him to live.”
My MC is very much tennis before everything else and willing to half kill himself for that number one spot.
His needs in order…
Tennis Stardom
Academic Prestige
Money
And somewhere far below the top three if he could fit in romance cool. If he needs more time to practice or study though it will be the first thing cut.
I just love the fact that so far it seems romance is very much an option and not forced and my MC can live the life of a college student who is running headlong into burnout and refuses to stop.
My MC when someone asks them if they’re alright during exam week when they have a tennis championship around the corner… “Breaks? What are those?”
