It’s had no new threads for ten days, and when I attempted to make one to test it, discussing the recent underrated CoG winners, it disappeared shortly after being posted. Based on the discussion in the HG sub, others have had similar experiences. Is something wrong with the automod rules over there?

Not sure what you did but that unclogged the pipe. All the attempted threads (well, presumably all of them) from the last week and a half have now popped into existence as if they were always there.
